Discussion:
Deroy Murdock: Critical race theory loved by Democratic-left preaches Black failure. That is so wrong

Critical Race Theory may be the Democratic-left’s filthiest, ugliest
Big Lie. It defines America as inherently and irredeemably bigoted,
denounces all whites as racial oppressors, and diminishes all Blacks as
racially oppressed victims.

Lies, lies, lies.

The third lie is the worst.

Black Lives Matter, the "diversity" police, and other "systemic
racism"-mongers relentlessly claim that white privilege and white
supremacy blockade Black success. Blacks think, "Yes, we can." The
Democratic-left replies: "No, you can’t."

Last June, Seattle staged Interrupting Internalized Racial Superiority
and Whiteness. This segregated brainwashing program for white municipal
workers accused them of rendering people of color "unable to imagine a
way forward that comes from a place of humanity and empowerment."

So, Blacks are paralyzed victims, as helpless as butterflies ensnared
in a tarantula’s web of white racism.

This frightful fantasy is concocted to leave Blacks cold and scared —
all the better to swaddle them in the warm, loving arms of the Left.

There are Blacks who are smarter and more well off economically than
anyone in this group, but that doesn't change the fact of a US Black
median IQ of 85, and significantly less in Africa. Just a matter of
Darwinian evolution in a harsh African environment -- an environment
that rewarded the fastest, strongest, and most agile with survival and
the greatest success in reproduction. Thus 85 IQ, but dominance in
many Olympic events. Asians, 20 points higher than their Black
counterparts and an average household income higher than their White
counterparts, although trailing US Jews who outscore all others in the
IQ department. I could go on, but IQ is the real story when it comes
to economic success and crime rates -- Period!

At least in my experience K-12 does not debate, it teaches. There may
be some discussion, but it is an environment devoted to conveying

As for my sources, I understand your comment concerning bias. I would
prefer liberal sources, but in the current climate of intense
political rivalry and hatred, it is just about impossible to find a
liberal critic of CRT.

Critical Race Theory may be the Democratic-left’s filthiest,
ugliest Big Lie. It defines America as inherently and
irredeemably bigoted, denounces all whites as racial
oppressors,
and diminishes all Blacks as racially oppressed victims.
Lies, lies, lies.
God help the United States when we can't tell the difference
between fact and opinion.
Are you saying critical race theory is a fact?
No. It's an opinion. The author of your link incorrectly says it is a
matter of fact (objectively can be proven true or false).
Murdock is black and sees critical race theory as a lie.  How
did he
become successful with all the white oppression?  Maybe it doesn't
exist.
Maybe. Maybe not. That's a matter of opinion. Murdock is a fool (or a
troll) if he thinks it is a matter of fact.
Two things you can count on: 1) the sun rises in the East and 2) Jeff
will introduce a Pavlovian red herring.
Not a red herring. Critical race theory is politically motivated
nonsense. IQ is what it is all about.
Whether CRT is nonsense or not is not relevant to what I said (CRT is a
matter of opinion, not a matter of fact. But shockingly enough, that's
what you focused on.
It is opinion that is being taught as fact in many K-12 schools.
Pavlov is smiling.
I need to apologize for that comment because you were making a relevant
point about opinion versus fact. If CRT is being taught as fact, that's
bad (noting that all of your sources are biased against CRT, so I
withhold judgment on the accuracy of their conclusions).
At least in my experience K-12 does not debate, it teaches. There may
be some discussion, but it is an environment devoted to conveying
knowledge.
For middle school on up, that's bad in and of itself. And that applies
just as much to the standard messages as it does to CRT.

Sorry, but I am confounded by your contention that K-12 teachers do
not teach, but rather are moderators of debate? If a teacher stands in
front of a class and states that race is not biological but rather a
social construct, that statement coming from instructor to student is
considered by those students to be fact, and is believed by the
instructor to be a fact, else why would he or she say it? The same

Critical Race Theory may be the Democratic-left’s filthiest,
ugliest Big Lie. It defines America as inherently and
irredeemably bigoted, denounces all whites as racial
oppressors,
and diminishes all Blacks as racially oppressed victims.
Lies, lies, lies.
God help the United States when we can't tell the difference
between fact and opinion.
Are you saying critical race theory is a fact?
No. It's an opinion. The author of your link incorrectly says
it is a
matter of fact (objectively can be proven true or false).
Murdock is black and sees critical race theory as a lie.  How
did he
become successful with all the white oppression?  Maybe it doesn't
exist.
Maybe. Maybe not. That's a matter of opinion. Murdock is a fool
(or a
troll) if he thinks it is a matter of fact.
There are Blacks who are smarter and more well off economically than
anyone in this group, but that doesn't change the fact of a US Black
median IQ of 85, and significantly less in Africa. Just a matter of
Darwinian evolution in a harsh African environment -- an environment
that rewarded the fastest, strongest, and most agile with survival
and
the greatest success in reproduction. Thus 85 IQ, but dominance in
many Olympic events. Asians, 20 points higher than their Black
counterparts and an average household income higher than their White
counterparts, although trailing US Jews who outscore all others in
the
IQ department. I could go on, but IQ is the real story when it comes
to economic success and crime rates -- Period!
Cite?
Huh? All I did was express my opinion that if 6-12 teaches (as
undeniable fact) rather than debates (as unclear in many cases) history,
that's bad. What do you expect me to cite?
Sorry, but I am confounded by your contention that K-12 teachers do
not teach, but rather are moderators of debate?
I didn't make that contention. I said for middle-school on up they
*should* be leading moderating debates about the whys and impacts of
history and current events rather than teaching them as facts.
Oh, that is what teachers "should" be doing. How does that work?
Instead of stating "Race is not biological but rather a
social construct" they preface their remarks with "There are those who
claim", or "some say"? Is that what you really believe teachers are
doing?
I have no idea what they are doing. But, that's what they should be doing.

If a teacher stands in
front of a class and states that race is not biological but rather a
social construct, that statement coming from instructor to student is
considered by those students to be fact, and is believed by the
instructor to be a fact, else why would he or she say it?
Right, which is why the teacher should be moderating a debate on the
subject rather than stating it is fact.
Cite?
Again, how can I provide a citation for what I think *should* be happening?
Correct. You can't because you have no way of knowing what is actually
happening. You apparently also want to believe that CRT is only being
taught 6-12 -- presumably because debate is difficult to imagine K-5.
Well, there is a growing controversy across the country for and
against the teaching of Critical Race Theory in public schools. CRT
training and bans pretty much universally reference K-12, not 6-12.

Schools"

mandating critical race theory training for K-12 educators in the
state."

liberal critic of CRT.
It's not hard to find black people against it, if you just search

Ah! Don't assume that Black and Liberal are the same thing. Just tune
into Fox News & Buisness sometime. Lots of Black faces. Fox is
Conservative and so is The National Center. Neither would meet Josh's
"unbiased" test. There may well be Liberal sites that oppose CRT, but
offhand I haven't found one.
