<don't feed the trolls>
Yes, don't feed them but counter them. In this case,
it's easy to counter kensi's propaganda by pointing
out that, historically, the party in power in the first
mid-term loses seats. Most recently, Obama lost
67 Democrat House seats in the midterms. This
means Republicans only lost about half of what
Obama did. This means President Trump had some
pretty decent coat tails.

And, Trump and the Republicans gained four or five
seats in the Senate and that bucked past trends
big time.

Then's there's President Trump's victory in garnering
the Black vote to the tune of about 15%. This
does NOT bode well for Democrats who must have
90% or more of the Black vote and have counted on
90% or more for decades while overlooking the needs
and wants of Blacks.

Republicans won in Florida because of a 15 to 18%
Black turnout for Republicans thanks to Mr. Trump.
Blacks there were responsible for the loss of a Black
gubernatorial candidate and a long-time white Democrat,
Senator Nelson.

A Black female gubernatorial candidate in Georgia LOST
to a white woman to a similar percentage of Blacks voting
for a White woman.

Trends disfavor the sleazy, obstructionist Democrats.
Take heed and take heart, patriotic Republicans.

The Democrats aren't doing so well.

The House of Representatives, that is.
*does a little victory dance*
But, you said there would be a giant blue wave.
There wasn't. The Dems won back the house by
a smaller margin than is the historical case in
the first mid-term election year of a new President.

So, in effect, President Trump's red wave that
consolidated the Senate by four or five more Republican
Senators was larger than the failed blue wave.

Go ahead and dance - people will be laughing at
you.

From what you're saying he clearly prefers it that way and everything

Thanks for troll feeding, Connor. It's quite simple to ignore this thread
if one junks articles crossposted to political newsgroups in one's kill
file. You cut the crosspost, breaking kill file entries.

Learn to use a kill file and you won't see such crossposted threads, and
just cease troll feeding.

Yes you do. It's called libbiterrosiam.
Never heard of it.

According to Google, it doesn't exist. There is no religion, or anything
else, with that name:

The Senate is even more Red.

Well, Heitcamp in pro-Trump North Dakota voted with the
unsupported accusations against Kavanaugh.
She lost & will soon be gone.

Well, Claire McCaskill in pro-Trump Missouri voted with the
unsupported accusations against Kavanaugh.
She lost & will soon be gone.

Well, Joe Donnelly in pro-Trump Indiana voted with the
unsupported accusations against Kavanaugh.
He lost & will soon be gone.

Bill Nelson in pro-Trump Florida voted with the
unsupported accusations against Kavanaugh.
He lost & will soon be gone.

How many democrat Senators are still in office is states
that voted for POTUS Trump in 2016?

So, keep in mind,
Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Associate Justice. since August 10, 1993,
is age 85.
And do not ignore that Stephen Breyer, Associate Justice, since
August 3, 1994, is age 80.

How many democrat Senators are still in office is states

During the 2018 Senate elections there were 26 Democrats and 9
Republicans up for re-election. How many seats did the Dems fantasize
about gaining? (vs. doing their darnedst to avoid losing)

I think most any fair minded observer would say they were more likely
to lose senators than gain them.

No. That's not what "math" means, moviePig and, therefore, that's not
what The Horny Goat meant. Making up your very own
definitions of words, then using them in a sentence, isn't how humor
works, certainly not for you, moviePig. Treating people like
shit in followup by misrepresenting positions for them isn't friendly,
moviePig. It's insulting.

From the 2016 election results, we knew which states' voters supported
Trump. In 2018, we knew which Democratic United States Senators would be up
for re-election. To the extent that some of them would be running in states
that Trump won, it was expected that some of them could lose re-election.

Now, I knew exactly what The Horny Goat was referring to because he used
words to make his meaning clear. It's a pleasure to read what he writes
because he writes clearly and concisely, doesn't assign false opinions
and beliefs to his opponent, and doesn't make up his own word meanings.

. . .
Your intent not to treat someone like shit in followup was irrelevant and
your witticism was nonexistent. In the followup you wrote, you attempted
to obfuscate the clear meaning of what he written.

No one has ever required you to obscure the meaning of clearly written
words. No one ever will.

Obfuscation is not something one does to show agreement. Instead, a normal
person trying to communicate agreement would write "I agree."

Thank you for the kind words. I can make up word meanings with the
best of them but I also remember Lewis Caroll's Humpty Dumpty who said
"Words mean exactly what I say they mean neither more nor less" and
while it can be entertaining it's not conducive to communication which
is what I'd like to think we're doing here.

This was one of the worst Senate maps in history for Dems.
Realistically, it wasn't going to happen without a miracle.

As it turned out, the night was about what I expected. I was hoping for
35 seats - and we're almost there.

procedure; to explainthe known by the unknown is a form of
theological lunacy." ~David Brooks"I get fooled all the

And Nancy Pelosi is now working for President Trump and against

What? You think it is bad that not all Democrats agree. You think
having free thinking and different opinions are bad.

If he is the late Mr. SoAndSo it will not matter.

He never will, he's always late.
sorry i'm late but
My butt tends to be a bit later than the rest of me.

Not sure I want it to rear its ugly head!

No. Some of the Democrats are pro-Palestinian, which isn't the same
thing unless you believe it's a zero-sum game.

I don't. You, on the other hand, have chosen the same side as the tiki

Neo-Nazi pre-dawn raids of American citizens in their pajamas, with M-16
