Discussion:
Helens attitude points to instability, some sort of breakdown.

The Helen is a Lesbian, article on the front page of the Sunday Star
highlights the level of Helens desperation to win at any cost, or far
worse, that she has buckled under the political strain.

One presumes her statements that Don Brash arranged a crowd of anti gay
thugs to hassle and heckle her because of her alleged sexual
preferences have been reported correctly.

If that is the case then the lady is guilty of the worst type of gutter
politics and false accusation that I have ever heard being made by a
political leader during my long life.

We listened very closely to the debate to which she refers, and yes the
audience was noisy and exuberant, but no one I was with heard streams
of sexual abuse or insult directed at either leader.

If this is the genuine opinion held by the PM, and if she has been
accurately reported over this issue, then indeed it may be that the
strain of this campaign has overwhelmed her and she should withdraw at
once and seek professional help.

Both out of fairness to herself, the country, and the political party
that she represents, for this, coupled with other recent incidents,
including the overreaction with the pilot etc, displays a worring and
disturbing trend.

More signs her stress levels are getting higher and higher as she now knows
she is going to be arsed out of the Beehive on Sept 17.

No one except herself has suggested otherwise, remember Helen is the
one raising this issue, and Helen alone.

Hence one is left wondering if the poor women is not in the throes of a
nervous breakdown.

Of course she is. The strain of having to reign in her absolute
loathing and hatred of Don Brash has been apparent since their
first Holmes interview/debate a year or two ago.

I predicted then that she was shit scared of Brash.

She has since shown via various means... mouth twitching
uncontrollably, mouth drooping in a hateful grimace, eyes
flashing hatred, horrible hysterical yelling, lies, innuendos etc
etc... all aimed at Brash.

She is fucked in the head.

I hope she falls apart before the election is over and people can
see her for what she really is. A freak... a power-mad
power-hungry freak. Interested only in keeping power for herself
so she can unleash her grand socialist plan on all NZ'rs. Her
plan of hatred, distrust, misery, pain and suffering.

She truly is a repellant disgusting excuse for a human being.
Never had a real job in her life. Never had children. Yet she
professes to know what's best for all NZ'rs. How bloody
preposterous is that?

Helen Clark owes Don Brash an apology. She's a professional... a

Even if it was, and I have seen nothing to prove it is, it is not
relevent to politics.

Neither is the fact that she is childless.

It is true. She herself said she only got married because of
political reasons. She couldn't become a politician if she lived
in sin. She got married to advance her political career. That was
the3 sole reason for her marriage.

Talk about a hypocrite!

It's people's own business how they conduct their married lives. Many
couples prefer to stay childless today.
A traditional church wedding might be a bit hypocritical (though if the wife
was past childbearing, one prayer used to be omitted from the service) but
there is always the Registry Office.
And today there is a Civil Union, if they prefer that.

If the country ever has a serious crisis, I for one would prefer the person
in charge to be childless and able to concentrate on the job without family
worries.

Might I remind you that this issue is not about Helens sexual
preferences, but about the ridiculous claims the woman made about Brash
arriving at the studio with hordes of slathering anti gay protesters,
who's sole purpose was to shout anti gay insults and expletives at the
PM.

We have all seen and heard the leaders debate, and every one including
the shows producers concede that the claims made are a nonsense.

So Im sorry, but much as some of you more fanatical Helen clones may
try to justify her vitriol, this issue that she has seized on is just
hysterical rubbish, and by trying desperately to justify her actions
you look as silly and irrational as she does.

Nothing in the SST story says that, so you must either:
(1) have yo9ur information from somewhere else, in which case, please
cite, or
(2) be lying.

Which is it.

Kannonball Klark is distracted these days by the new, to her, game of

Put quite simply Don Brash would not do that, he is a gentleman and not
really a politician. Both of which facts tend to make me think he will be a
good and decent leader of this country.

Hardly need a leader of "this country" as you put it.

I am my own leader. And what mentors I have, well, I'll choose

Quite true. She only married for political expendiency. She
admitted it herself.

I don't think she is. I think she's probably asexual. Such people exist and
for various reasons. e.g. people have varying interest in sex - some very
little or even none, others simply choose to live free from the
benefits/liabilities that it entails. I would guess she's the former.

Yes and it's nobodys business.
It is people who oppose her who have made it an issue.

If people want to make it an issue, then that's *their* business,
Tilly. Besides, Clark makes everyone's lives a issue, so she can
get fucked. What's good for her is good for everyone else.

Strongly? What does that mean FFS?

Anyway, why would I want to go into politics? I have no desire to
be a dictator to anyone. Besides, I'm busy enough solving my own
problems without pretending I know what's best for everyone else.
I'd rather let them decide that for themselves.

It is so cute the way these Labour sycophants try to twist these posts
and ignore the irrational and hysterical outbursts by Clark who accused
Brash of engineering a rent-a-mob of anti gay rednecks to heckle her at
the televised leaders debate.

Something that has proved beyond doubt to be a total exaggeration and
fabrication , not that honesty is of any great concern to the left.

The issue is, Labour is the most anti-family administration we have
had in a long time. Helen leads a whole cabal of anti-family
ministers.

Doha declaration on the family - opposed by NZ and Canada. NZ proposes
amendment after amendment. Because Labour wholly opposes the
traditional definition of families that has served us well for so many
years.

Huh? How so?

Wrong. Doesn't wholly oppose the traditional definition. Embraces it, in
fact. but also says there are other types of family apart from only the
'traditional' nuclear family (which is a construct of capitalistic
societies, anyway).

Rubbish. Opposed by the EU, Norway, Switzerland, Canada, Australia,
Iceland, Liechtenstein and New Zealand -who all dissociated themselves
from the limited view of what constitutes 'family' under the
declaration. Dominated by the cabal of fundamintalist Islamd, those
countries dissociated Qatar's resolution making 'family mean only a man
and a woman and thei children. There are many more flavours of families
than that.

Labour, and NZ, seek to protect families by seeing all families seen as
valid and worthy, not just those who fill a certain narrow criteria, out
of step to many in todays world

Let's be honest, Tilly. It's highly likely that Clarke is a rug muncher.
So it DOES bring into question her understanding of things such as
family values when she most likely knows nothing about men and families
in general.

Would you want a minge minion preaching to you about parenthood? I think
it's starting to catch up with her now. She's an ice queen, and probably
a gay one at that. Brash, for all his other faults, does at least appear
human.

I have come to the conclusion the gay bashers in here ,are afraid of their
latent attraction to the same sex as themselves.

Well of course. But that's to justify *your* fancies, nothing
else.

Maybe she should start acting like one! It would do her good to be a
housewife for a while (though Mr. Davies might have something to say about
that awful prospect) and if she still wants to have a job outside cooking,
cleaning and ironing for her dear husband she could do part time work in New
World or her local library who are crying out for more people I believe.

I'd say that this was the worst campaign bar none for
personal attacks and vilifications from the "right", ever.
It's been sickening to say the least to see the verbal vomit
that spews from them.

I've tried hard to keep it to a sensible level of debate,
but it is impossible in the face of garbage such as the above.

Brash obviously has: he's promising unaffordable tax cuts
to the upper and upper middle classes, and if he gets in
he'll have to to borrow billions to pay for them.

Might be an idea for anyone with a mortgage to get the best
fixed rate for 4 or more years that they can, because if this
happens floating rates will go sky-high.

Brash doesn't have to *pay* anything. He is just leaving more of
your money in your pocket.

Not so. She is under extreme pressure. She is a seething mess of
emotional hatred and loathing inside. It's starting to manifest
through uncontrollable twitching, lies, yelling and abuse etc.
She is fast losing the plot... not that she ever had one... well

Why don't you watch parliament and see how Klark and so many of
the others continually dodge questions and generally treat the
Westminster system with utter contempt? She's not brave Grumpy,
and if you think she is, you don't know SFA. When she can't hide
behind the partisan judgements of her buddy Wilson, and has to
answer questions in TV debates or elsewhere, and not just ignore
them with her usual off topic sneering comebacks, she's
hopeless..

Helen is great when she is on top but can't handle adversity. Remember the
tears at Waitangi? There was an incident in parliament when the opposition
got to her and she started yelling and screaming. She couldn't take it. It
involved her husband Peter Davis. A commission was set up to probe waste in
public hospitals. Helen put her husband, whose job it is to head a team
overlooking the operation of the health system, in charge. Davis was put in
a position where he might have needed to produce reports critical of Helen's
government. The opposition was questioning the propriety of it.

I scanned this on the cover of the SST. "Why is she labouring this
debate that happened more than a week ago?" I wondered.

Maybe her political strategists have decided that her aggression in
that debate damaged her image, so it's necessary to come up with some
kind of justification. But you'd think it's not very politically
savvy to go over old ground like this.

A week is a long time in politics; even longer in the lead up to an
election. To be seen to be holding a grudge so long about what is, in
political terms, ancient history, doesn't look good.

Who takes notice of the gutter press anyway? It's their job to dig up dirt
to boost their circulation. If they can't find a scandal they'll try to make
one.

However, it was Clark who made the statement. The SST didn't invent
that.

You may presume this, but you presume too much. If you read the article,
you'll have to admit that Helen made no statements of the sort. So
you're lying again, aren't you?

That'll be because the microphones were pointed at Helen and Brash. The
microphones only picked up the audience as secondary and background
sounds. Newsman will know about this.

You Lie again, direct quote from the Star Times.
"But he "Brash" came in with a mob of hooligans who chanted abuse at
me every time I opened my mouth.
They shouted personal abuse,-no kid lesbo, scrubber , liar."
End quote.

So that is the statement made by Clark, please explain how quoting her
directly makes me a liar.

Funny how no one else, either on or off camera with the exception of
your rather flakey leader, heard anything even faintly resembling her
claims.

Because you declared that she'd said one thing, when clearly she'd said
something else.

It was on TV for starters. No one, not Sainsbury, Brash, or
anyone else heard what Herr Klark claims she heard.

My guess is, it was her schizoid other half yelling in her ear.

judging by some of the shit said about Clark on this newsgroup, redbait et
al, I can quite believe that the Nats crowd got very personal. I doubt Brash
would be too happy if people called him a sleazy looking old bastard or an
old pervert or a dressing gown wearing old sleaze who liked quiet
subservient little women who acquiesced to his every demand. It is a
personal call as to whether that thing is acceptable in an election.

Fuck off you despicable smearer.

It's people like you that tell the lies and make smears without
any evidence to back up your plainly hate-driven irrational
propaganda. And you expect people to be polite to you? That's a

basically you prove my point eh John Boy. The amount of "I hate Clarkism" on
this newsgroup when transferred into a hand picked crowd of rowdy Nats would
easily throw up lesbian/dyke type insults.

A couple of quotes from this very thread:
"A freak... a power-mad power-hungry freak"

"She truly is a repellant disgusting excuse for a human being.
Never had a real job in her life. Never had children."

strikes me it is you who is trying to claim some moral high ground whilst
acting like a foul mouthed little prick in the same act.

No John, your actions and your words betray your self moralistic stance
here. Based on the venom and bile poured out on this newsgroup toward Clark
there is ample evidence such a hand picked National crowd could do the same.

Your bullshit attempted diversions of 'lies' 'smears' and 'propoganda' can't
mask the venom you and your ilk direct toward Clark. If you can't be polite,
what makes you think a National party crowd will do the same. You are a
prize hypocrite Johnny.

exactly my point, it goes on here regularly so why the hell would it not go
on in a crowd of political yahoos during a leaders debate. Anyone who claims
that is just bloody naive. My point is would Brash appreciate if Labour
supporters called him an old pervert or a child molestor. Probably not.

Not the point. No one heard anyone in the National supporters
group say any of those things. Just Clark. She was the only one
who "allegedly" heard them. You are taking what she says as
gospel, yet she is a proven liar.

and people are rushing round this newsgroup renying it could ever happen and
pretending butter wouldn't melt in the mouth of national party yahoos. I
think it is afir to say that the possibility is (much) more than remote that
such comments were said.

That's a back down. But anyway, prove it. No one else heard it
except Clark.

Tell you what I think could have happened. During the breaks
someone from Labour told a National supporter that Brash was a
"pussy wimp." So, that National party supporter said to the
Labourite "Clakrs a lesbo, or whatever.

Then, after the show, a week later, someone told someone that
someone had said that about Clark. So someone told Clark. She
then tried to use it as a weapon against Brash.

She directly accussed Brash of personally bringing those people
in to shout those things out.

Clearly that is an outrageous lie. And you support it. So where's
your fucken proof?

Wanker. :-P

if you think it is a backdown go right ahead. It is well within the bounds
of the Nat crowd abusing her with dyke/lesbo gibes. Brash wouldn't like it
were he called a pervert or a dirty old man.

I could well believe some Labour party supporters called Brash a pussy or a
whimp.

whereas the Nats B team could have arranged all of that. Just because Brash
may not have been personally involved does not mean it wasn't arranged. You
knwo politics well enough to realise that.

> Clearly that is an outrageous lie.

because you say so huh. Unfortunately you are hardly a credible source John.
