worse, that she has buckled under the political strain.

One presumes her statements that Don Brash arranged a crowd of anti gay
thugs to hassle and heckle her because of her alleged sexual
preferences have been reported correctly.

If that is the case then the lady is guilty of the worst type of gutter
politics and false accusation that I have ever heard being made by a
political leader during my long life.

We listened very closely to the debate to which she refers, and yes the
audience was noisy and exuberant, but no one I was with heard streams
of sexual abuse or insult directed at either leader.

If this is the genuine opinion held by the PM, and if she has been
accurately reported over this issue, then indeed it may be that the
strain of this campaign has overwhelmed her and she should withdraw at
once and seek professional help.

No one except herself has suggested otherwise, remember Helen is the
one raising this issue, and Helen alone.

Hence one is left wondering if the poor women is not in the throes of a
nervous breakdown.

Of course she is. The strain of having to reign in her absolute
loathing and hatred of Don Brash has been apparent since their
first Holmes interview/debate a year or two ago.

I predicted then that she was shit scared of Brash.

She has since shown via various means... mouth twitching

It is true. She herself said she only got married because of
political reasons. She couldn't become a politician if she lived

It's people's own business how they conduct their married lives. Many
couples prefer to stay childless today.
A traditional church wedding might be a bit hypocritical (though if the wife
was past childbearing, one prayer used to be omitted from the service) but
there is always the Registry Office.
And today there is a Civil Union, if they prefer that.

If the country ever has a serious crisis, I for one would prefer the person
in charge to be childless and able to concentrate on the job without family
worries.

got to her and she started yelling and screaming. She couldn't take it. It
involved her husband Peter Davis. A commission was set up to probe waste in
public hospitals. Helen put her husband, whose job it is to head a team
overlooking the operation of the health system, in charge. Davis was put in
a position where he might have needed to produce reports critical of Helen's
government. The opposition was questioning the propriety of it.

A week is a long time in politics; even longer in the lead up to an
election. To be seen to be holding a grudge so long about what is, in
political terms, ancient history, doesn't look good.

Tell you what I think could have happened. During the breaks
someone from Labour told a National supporter that Brash was a
"pussy wimp." So, that National party supporter said to the
Labourite "Clakrs a lesbo, or whatever.

Then, after the show, a week later, someone told someone that
someone had said that about Clark. So someone told Clark. She
then tried to use it as a weapon against Brash.

She directly accussed Brash of personally bringing those people
in to shout those things out.

Clearly that is an outrageous lie. And you support it. So where's
your fucken proof?

may not have been personally involved does not mean it wasn't arranged. You
