Every Time I Hear) That Mellow Saxophone - Roy Montrell - 8
One of the very, very few singles released under his own name by one of
the very busiest session men on the 1950's New Orleans music scene.
And one of the best!!
Post by SavoyBGHip Shakin' Mama - Jack Cochran - 7
Very good RAB effort on Sims from the artist later better known as
Jackie Lee Cochran ("Ruby Pearl") on Decca. Several of his singles
(including the Sims one) were heavily booted in the early 70's

Very average. This used to sell for us mostly on the other side---the
Trenier-ish "Jump Rock 'N' Roll". This group went on to bigger and
better things a year later when they morphed into The Dubs

Undistinguished item by a past-their-sell-by-date Turbans
