did you miss me ;oP got a new pc last week, from aldi for £500. me local
puter shop does q6600 for £715 (ok you get 1 gig ram more and better gfx
card but only 250 gig harddrice space)

Core2 Quad Q6600
500GB SATA Hard Drive
3GB Ram
GeForce 8600GT graphics
8 Channel Audio
Multi Format Dual Layer DVD writer (doesnt say make but a pioneer was in my
last Medion)
High Speed WLAN 802.11 n-Draft
Integrated front memory card reader
DVB-T/DVB-S Freeview TV Tune

http://www.aldi.co.uk/uk/html/offers/58_5285.htm

wanted quad core with dual layer burner, 16 x burner was burning at 1x
(burnt that many). so when I seen it had HDMI and seen people saying buy it
while you can , so did ;o)

been installin a few OS,apps etc since thursday and its silent. thought its
got to be hot, but not. nice and fast and got tons of bloody connections
(scart,5.1,hdmi etc)

not been on xbox for a few days now, not even had time to test the hdmi yet
busy tweaking. did the vista p2p tweak(tcpip.sys, 1/2 done) and stream's are
spot on for footy.

and its amazing what you'll put up with without doing a clean install ;o)
browser wouldn't display links, slow xp etc etc

ok I know its aldi (and there warranty's are shit) but for the price and
what you get, I'll take the chance.

and gaming is for 360/ps3 otherwise I'd went for the pc with £300 gfx card
but £215 more

It's the same as the XP SP2 one, it's a hacked dll that removes some security
features related to an application opening lots of connections in one go.

I didn't use patch

used command prompt

http://torrentfreak.com/optimize-vista-for-bittorrent-emule-p2ptv/

and because I had MS updates, I couldn't copy tcpip.sys (be carefull and
backup tcpip.sys you might have to undo what you done). but rest of stuff
and that did something.

let me explain better, had just done me 1 & 1/2 hour exercise, was drained
(had me carton of tomato juice now), bath was running, dog wanted out and
I'm in here posting ;o)

right I couldn't replace the tcpip.sys as I had put the MS updates on, so
was getting blue screen of death and luckily I have a triple boot of vista's
so had copy else where and could boot there. I could do all the other
commands tho and they must have done something.

Yeah, it was due back on the 14th if I was to take the '10 days'
literally. But I wont.
