Good point, reminds me of a Star Trek episode, years ago:

https://shakespeareandbeyond.folger.edu/2016/09/16/shakespeare-klingon-star-trek/

"Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country, in which the Klingon chancellor Gorkon comments to Captain Kirk that “You have not experienced Shakespeare until you have read him in the original Klingon.” (The phrase “the undiscovered country” is itself a phrase from Hamlet’s “To be or not to be” – or in Klingon, “taH pagh taHbe'” – soliloquy.) The Folger owns The Undiscovered Country, on both VHS and DVD, as it’s one of many examples of Shakespearean themes, and even direct allusions, in Star Trek..."

Well since they didn't poll me, so this poll is not completely conclusive, just sectionally sampled...
just the fact that Buk ranked higher than the bard makes me doubt this poll for other than a popularity contest.
I don't put a whole lot of credance in Buk since he admitted to writing about sordid sex just for sales-- he sounds like a sordid sell out to perversion-- makes me wonder why some people like him.

I could care less for I am not part of the flock and read what I want, not what others want. Your desperate need of validation is noted-- I don't need lists and declarations that my poets are greatest. I actually like that my tastes are for the more obscure.
