I have an Android Phone with a cracked screen. It still works even
though the glass is full of cracks, so I'm trying to figure out a use
for it.
Is it possible to somehow use it as a Squeezebox player, controlling it
remotely from another device?

2* Squeezebox 3
1* SB Duet
1* SB Radio
1 * ReadyNAS Pro

Yes, the android app "Squeeze player" will do it, see

I have an android alarm clock I use as a squeezplayer

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=de.bluegaspode.squeezeplayer

I use my android phone as the remote

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=uk.org.ngo.squeezer

I works great. Although the Squeezer remote only supports streaming
from the squeeze server. There are other (paid) remote apps that will
also play music services. It works good for me, since I play Spotify,
TuneIn radio, and Podcatser locally on the alarm clock for my other
music needs.

Its called an Archos 35 home connect. It's has some limitations, but as
far as I can see its the only android alarm clock available. I bought
it from Amazon, but they do not stock it anymore, it may have been
discontinued. I wrote a review on Amazon, its still there if you want
to read it.
