I am an student of eletrical engineering in Brazil and i am doing my
last year of the couse too. My graduation work is a system of voice
recognition pattern and i have used the texas intruments kit together
with matlab. I'm at the begin of the project, so it will be very
interesting change informations with you if possible. Sorry about my
bad english and i wait your response. By!!!

Speech recognition involve numbers of stages and each stage could be
implemented using different algorithms. FFT, LPC, Filter bank for
features extraction, NN for classification...

Implementation of the algorithm into the Embedded target is even more
advance task since it is the continous speech recognition, for
example, if you were to use HMM, stateflow might required for
modeling the states...

I am a Master student at AIT (Thailand), my thesis project is speech
recognition also. Firstly, I have to implement this project in Matlab
by two ways: deterministic method and another is using HMM. I have
just finished deterministic method in Matlab, now I programming for
HMM. After that I implement two method above in TI Kit C6711.

I hope that we can change information with each other to finish our
project.
