Slack 14.2, 64-bit
I think this inability started with Quantum Firefox, but maybe earlier.
Possibly when switching from 32- to 64-bit (multilib) slackware, which
provides its own set of problems. It's all hazy now...
I tried getting rid of extensions, .css files, etc., ultimately
installing the latest version (67.0 today) and doing NOTHING to the new
profile except my facebook login. Same thing. The screen reloads, but
the video doesn't play.
No problem with chrome, which I really dislike. I dislike virgin
firefox too, but I can fix that.
Somebody once suggested a codec deficiency, but all the references refer
to not-slackware solutions which only work sometimes and which
frequently refer to nonexistent directories.
I tried installing a 32-bit version of firefox, but it burped on
libgtk-3.... and I've never had success tweaking around with libs :-(
Any ideas?
