Okay, we are ready for the first round. Time to separate the contenders from the pretenders as two items will be eliminated from each group from here on out.

To make things easy for everybody, from here on out it will be one group each day, opening in the morning. This will have us finishing on June 22 with the FINAL FOUR.

I never liked "Oye Como Va" by Santana, so I can't share the group's
enthusiasm for the original. None of the records in this group is a
keeper for me, and it's not easy to rate them. How do you rank something
#1 when it's not even something you would like to hear again?

Tito edges the Doctor on a tie breaker as it was ranked higher on 7 of the 12 ballots. Harper and Puente advance, Ross and Bonds are done.
