Yeah, she should just get over it!

Lindsay Lohan has expressed her feelings about Hurricane Sally.

Mitt Romney has repurposed his campaign bus to shuttle stuff, wares,
materials, and goods to Poseidon's Victims.

Most gorgeous sunset in a long time, from pink to the north to butter-cream
in the west, drawing down through the various rich yellows to gold, a
brilliant and shiny gold, and then to orange, and then mercuricrome, and
finally to tiger, tiger, burning bright, in the forests of the night.
Stunning.

Damn Sandy!

I worry about Susan. My young cousin on Long Island, last time we heard,
had a flooded barn and yard, and it was lurching up towards his 1840's home,
last time we heard.

Aw, it was scary hearing a Very Heavy Tree (one of the trunks of the
forked oak on our hill) come down in the dark, giving way to relief that
it did not land on the house the way so many large old trees did in our
neighborhood. Some of the rootballs on their sides seemed about one
story high. Took out our power lines all around.

Power came on this a.m. at 2:53 est. Yannow, 55 degrees feels balmy
when it's outdoors, but not so much inside the house.

Thanks, Tim, for worrying.

Did laundry, we tossed out piles of ice from fridge and freezer and both
did phone bank shifts for OFA. Doing the same for the next two days
until it's over.

Those folks in Ohio have about had it.
