Me gustaba bastante la serie, pero le metieron tanta mano los de la
televisora que nunca volvió a ser la misma.
En esta temporada cambia el protagonista por su doble de otro mundo
debido a que Jerry O'Connell, el actor que lo interpretaba, abandona la
serie. En el último capítulo Rembrandt, el único que queda del grupo
original, se dirige a su hogar tras inyectarse un virus que debería ser
capaz de destruir a los Kromaggs. No es revelado si lo consigue o no.
Así que al parecer se dejó un capítulo abierto pero nunca se renovó la
serie.
Y encontré esto otro:
Rembrandt, Mallory, Maggie, and Diana arrived on a world where they were
revered as near-religious figures due to the prophetic hallucinations of
a man called the Seer. He built the Sliders up to be figures of legend,
with novels and comics and a TV show. He had also envisioned that the
slide the team would take after this world would be their last. The
portal would collapse mid-transit due to some Kromagg doodad.
Oh, and somehow the Earth-Prime Mrs. Mallory was among their legions of
fans. Yes, Quinn's adopted mother. Original actress and all. This was
their big guest star. In the end, Remmy strands the team on this world
and goes through the portal alone, having injected himself with a virus
that will annihilate the Kromagg race. None of them know for certain
whether or not he made the journey intact, or even whether the 'maggs
might have killed him before he could destroy the entire empire.
