Well, let's consider. Republicans, not Democrats were elected to
control the House of Representatives. That is the body
Constitutionally mandated to originate measures to fund the
government. (The body closest to the people gets to control the purse
strings.) They have decided they don't want to make some of the
expenditures the president stamps his feet and insists on.
Obama keeps saying it's the law and has to be funded. BS. Laws come,
laws are repealed, laws are changed. It is not Obama's way until the
end of time. Hundreds of laws are passed and never funded. Politicians
get to say they did something good and never have to tax a dime to pay
for it.
Obama keeps trying to portray the opposition in belittling terms. One
faction, of one party, of one house of the legislature, which is one
body of government, on one issue. Whoop tie do. It takes a majority of
all of the House to pass anything. And that majority was put there by
the voters. Republicans were put there to control the purse strings.
Isn't politics the art of compromise? Obama won't even discuss it. The
Democrats in the Senate won't even vote on proposals adopted by the
House and sent to them. The Senate is free to vote on them, change
them, send back other proposals, but no. The Obama Boys won't do
anything. They do not want a settlement. They want to take it to the
brink. Screw the people, Democrats are like that. They are all for the
little guy as long as the little guy does everything their way.
Obama keeps saying ObamaCare was approved by the legislature and he
implies that includes the Republicans. They were not told of secret
meetings and when they found out about them, if they found out where
they were being held, they found themselves physically locked out of
the room. Neither party of neither house of Congress was given the
first clue what they were voting for. And at that, it only passed by
the barest margin, and only with three turn coat RHINOS.
Obama keeps saying the voters supported ObamaCare. They did until they
found out what's in it. What we got is not remotely like what he
promised in his campaign.
Obama keeps saying ObamaCare was approved by the Supreme Court. All
they found was that if we call his mandate, a tax instead of a
mandate, then it's legal to do that. They never ruled word one on the
package. They never said it was a good or a bad idea. They never said
we had to do it and do it forever. They just found that after spending
a couple years telling us it wasn't a tax, it would be tolerable if
Obama called it a tax. Obama attorneys argued it was a tax while Obama
and the Obamadriods in the Congress swore it was not. Transparency.
Obama keeps saying Republicans oppose medical care for poor people.
BS. It's about how it's to be managed and how it's to be funded.
ObamaCare, now that we have seen what Pelosi said we would have to
pass to find out what it was (that's transparency) the majority of the
public does not want it as it stands.
Obama is going out of his way to screw whoever he can to make the shut
down a big deal. Tourists were scrambling to grab maps for a
self-guided tour before the government workers, on Obama's orders,
took them and put them away. Zero government workers are required for
the people to walk where everyone can walk anytime they feel like it.
Zero government involvement for them to do that. The maps were already
printed and in boxes for people to take.
While the zoos are closed to visitors, the Panda cameras were taken
off the internet - on Obama's orders - with the stupid justification
that zoo workers might have to do something to a camera that is on
24/7 without intervention. It's like a traffic camera.
Assholes tried to shutdown the WWII memorial on the Washington Mall
this morning. If you haven't been to the memorial, it's in an open
area on the Mall between the reflecting pond and the Washington
Monument. There is nothing to shut down, there is no freaking staff,
walls or other barriers to keep you away from the WWII memorial. The
freaking National Park Police put up barricades to keep visitors
away.....they tried to keep a group of WWII vets away that were
visiting with the help of Honor Flights.
Rep Steve King (R-Iowa) distracted the park police while Vets and
staffers knocked over the barricades and continued their visit.
Closing the memorial was nothing more than political theater
orchestrated by this administration.
One of the Vets tweeted "Vet have control of the memorial" as well

What is a dry technical fiscal issue - Obama is doing everything
possible to screw as many people as he can, in as many ways as he can,
and he hopes he can pin the stuff he is doing on the Republicans.
