Hey, it is not impossible. Mourinho knows how to park the bus. Plus I
predicted a City win, so clearly that will not happen.

That bus has conceded 18 goals, only 5 EPL teams have conceded more. On the other end City have scored 33 goals, for a clean average of 3 goals a game.

You predicted well.

Mourinho is no longer a modern manager since he is too conservative and
lack of imagination. ManUtd is not going to fly under his leadership
without breaking banks. What ManUtd needs to do is to hire someone like
Zidane and bring Bale back.

I agree somewhat and dont think Jose will last the season. As for
Zidane, well I'm doubtful he'll be the man for the job. He doesn't
have the resume.

If anyone is in doubt about Zidane’s management ability by winning three
consecutive UCL titles, nothing will convince he/she then.

The open question against Zidane is that he took a disjointed but spectacularly talented team and got the best out of them. What he hasn't had a chance to prove is that he can take a project and build it from ground up. Granted MU is loaded with talent as well (offensively at least) but the squad is nowhere as balanced as RM circa 2015.

OTOH one can argue that MU have gotten nowhere with trusted hands like LVG and Mourinho, so why not take a punt on someone, who despite a limited CV, can work with big names and play proper football.

Just curious: based on the way both United and City have been playing lately, and their respective defenses/attacks, on what basis did you think this game would end as a draw?

Based upon the fact that most teams have a bad day. Did you think
United could have beaten Juve on current form?
There is always the intangibles!

Heres another for you :

You won't win the league.....this season

If Juve had taken their multiple chances to kill the game it wouldn't have happened. But flukes happen. They just don't happen on a regular basis. United has had enough freak wins in the last month (Newcastle, B'mouth, Juve) to last them the rest of the year and beyond.

It's looking very tough the way City are playing (they are better than last season and that's scary). The only hope is that come Apr/May, City may prioritize the UCL over the EPL and we do the opposite. Assuming of course that there isn't daylight between them and us by then.

Where do you think you'll end up?

Outside the top 4, which may, long term be a good thing if it forces
the owners to get rid of Jose.
I've never been a fan of his football its very anti-United.
I would rather be mid table playing the "United way" under someone
like Giggs, than be top 10 and boring under Jose. But I'm an older
long time fan and not typical of the United fan of today who is spoilt
by years of success.
As long as you lot don't win the title I'll be happy.

The fact that Guardiola can't do it in the Premier League, that his "square passing game" had already failed when Van Gaal coached Manchester United, that his soft approach would never succeed?..

I forgot the doping part. His "midgets" would never succeed in England without doping also..
