Dear Goanetters,

On behalf of the Goanet admin team, I?d like to congratulate all our members on
Goanet?s 10th anniversary today ? August 25, 2004. We?d also like to thank you
for all the good wishes we received.

Goanet had a humble beginning. It started with roughly 20 members in 1994.
Today, we have over 1,700 members on Goanet and over 5,500 members on Goanet-
news. That?s a total of over 7,200 members.

Goanet would not have become what it is today without a considerable amount of
work. We have been very lucky to have members who have taken the time and
effort to post articles and discuss topics. They have made Goanet an
interesting forum. Thanks also go to the silent members for their support.

I?d like to say a big thank you to those of you who have volunteered your time
to help run Goanet. We?ve had many volunteers over the years. Many thanks go
to the current administration team: Fred Noronha (Saligao), Viviana Coelho (San
Francisco) and Bosco DeMello (Toronto). Fred, Viviana and Bosco work
tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure that everything runs smoothly. I think
that Fred has been involved in list administration since about 1995 or 1996,
Viviana since 1997 and Bosco has been with us for about a year now. Thanks
also go to Vincente Fernandes for posting the birthdays each week.

A very special thank you goes to Fred Noronha who has put in an enormous amount
of time and effort over the years. Fred has promoted Goanet extensively and
performed list administration duties. He has also made Goanet a vibrant forum
with all his articles and comments. Fred, hats off to you!

As we look to the future, we hope to expand our services. This year, we plan
to launch a new website and work towards improving the quality of articles and
discussions on Goanet. We will try new strategies to improve the quality of
discussions while trying to keep the load of email manageable. I think it is
essential that we go back to our roots and keep the focus on Goa and Goans
worldwide. We must also maintaining strong etiquette on Goanet. I hope that
you will support us in our efforts.

Congratulations to Goanet on its 10th anniversary!

Dear Goanetters,
On behalf of the Goanet admin team, I?d like to
congratulate all our members on
Goanet?s 10th anniversary today ? August 25, 2004.
We?d also like to thank you
for all the good wishes we received.
Goanet had a humble beginning. It started with
roughly 20 members in 1994.
Today, we have over 1,700 members on Goanet and over
5,500 members on Goanet-
news. That?s a total of over 7,200 members.
Goanet would not have become what it is today
without a considerable amount of
work. We have been very lucky to have members who
have taken the time and
effort to post articles and discuss topics. They
have made Goanet an
interesting forum. Thanks also go to the silent
members for their support.
I?d like to say a big thank you to those of you who
have volunteered your time
to help run Goanet. We?ve had many volunteers over
the years. Many thanks go
to the current administration team: Fred Noronha
(Saligao), Viviana Coelho (San
Francisco) and Bosco DeMello (Toronto). Fred,
Viviana and Bosco work
tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure that
everything runs smoothly. I think
that Fred has been involved in list administration
since about 1995 or 1996,
Viviana since 1997 and Bosco has been with us for
about a year now. Thanks
also go to Vincente Fernandes for posting the
birthdays each week.
A very special thank you goes to Fred Noronha who
has put in an enormous amount
of time and effort over the years. Fred has
promoted Goanet extensively and
performed list administration duties. He has also
made Goanet a vibrant forum
with all his articles and comments. Fred, hats off
to you!
As we look to the future, we hope to expand our
services. This year, we plan
to launch a new website and work towards improving
the quality of articles and
discussions on Goanet. We will try new strategies
to improve the quality of
discussions while trying to keep the load of email
manageable. I think it is
essential that we go back to our roots and keep the
focus on Goa and Goans
worldwide. We must also maintaining strong
etiquette on Goanet. I hope that
you will support us in our efforts.
Congratulations to Goanet on its 10th anniversary!
