Naw, I managed to lure some squirrels into cages using peanuts and have
them running on wheels like hamsters to power those eyeball lights. The
lights blink when the squirrels get tired. ;)

Ahh yes, putting Mother Gaia to work!

The lights should have eyelids that open and close kinda random to
the others in the string. That would look cool.

After Halloween, fried squirrel in gravy is a good meal.

Squirrel tastes good, but it's awfully tough and stringy. That said,
I've never brined it properly. Squirrels don't fatten up for winter.
Their meat is lean 365. They store their fat externally.

I've tried but the mp4 video is too large for postimages and other free
hosting sites to upload even though it's not very large. Oh well.

Unfortunately, the mp4 of only a few seconds is still too large (22.2
MB). Anything smaller wouldn't even catch one blink! Oh well.

Yes. Eternal September doesn't, so I won't be seeing it.
E-S carries alt.binaries.food. But there are few E-S peers that carry
full binaries.

The way that works is - post a binary on E-S and it will be available
on Blocknews. Post a binary on Blocknews and it probably won't be
available on E-S (small binaries sometime show up on E-S). Text
messages usually show up on E-S in alt.binaries.food.

Opinicus just posted several binaries to alt.binaries.food. Haven't
seen them on E-S. They are available on xsusenet (free with
limitations - no posting, sign up every 30 days, no SSL, no VPN,
limited speed, monthly data cap).

We saw a weird thing the other night. We were on the elevated section of the freeway next to the airport. Half of the road was closed for a couple of miles. The road was pitch black and there was no construction equipment around. The only thing we saw was a guy with one of those miners helmet with a light on it looking down on the road. He had a hammer and was hitting the road with it. The light was really bright but he looked like he was floating in space in a bubble, hitting a mystery. I can't say what the heck he was up to but my guess is that it was nothing good.
