Followed by a smirk from Peters and chatting to a neighbour by the PM.
Neither Labour or NZ First deserve re-election. Almost anybody else will do
better.

Rich is want to accuse National of toy-throwing, ignoring the many
episodes such as this one.

Is there any co-incidence between the PGF funds being thrown at
Northland, Shane Jones as a Northland electorate candidate, and NZF
polling about 3%? Bridges anyone ;-)

I wondered why Simon Bridges was being grumpy - did someone ask him
about the bridges?

Nope. Winston's getting asked where they all are Rich :)

Possibly a bit of spin here - it looked more as though he believed
that as Deputy PM he should be next to the PM. Winston knows where the
cameras would be pointed, and Bridges being grumpy just wouldn't
deliver the publicity shots a real politician values . . .

Look at it again, Tony. The Prime Miniser would expect to be
accompanied by senior governmetn members, broadly in order of
seniority. She is seen having a small word to Shaw who moves across.
Its more a question of protocol really, and what the audience would
expect. If anything Shaw was out of place being being ahead of the PM;
Bridges was in his correct position and was unphased by Shaw moving
next to him. Still, some will try and diss Winston Peters on teh most
fatuous of grounds . . .

Silliness off topic removed.
Watch it again, all is clear. Peters was rude and he knew it, then when Bridges
was speaking he smirked and the PM chatted with a neighbour. Truth is clear.

And you continue the insult by Simon Bridges to the event, to the
people there, and to the people of New Zealand. None of the other
speakers pointed to the failures of the previous government; Simon
Bridges gave a partisan election year speech directed to his largely
non-Maori supporters away from the Treaty Ground. His disrespect will
have been noted; National will again not win any of the Maori seats at
the next election so Bridges used the event to feed the prejudices of
idiots like Tony who also hold the view that discussion from those he
does not agree with should be ignored (and in Tony's case, deleted).

Only you delete arguments that do not support you, Tony, you know
that.

As it was, Bridges was clearly embarrased at hs poor showing; he
slinked off this morning. You lack of acceptance of protocols
concerning reception of ginitaries is presumably due to your lack of
exposure to any senior political figures; your inclination to see any
view, or even evidence that does not support your ignorant
self-serving views is all your own problem.
