Discussion:
How do people live without faith in God?

A better question would be - how do people live without knowledge of
God? Seriously, who gives a hoot what people have faith in?

People live in the material world regardless of their faith. When
people live without knowledge of God, however, they create hell on
earth. When they live with knowledge of God they create a paradise on
earth. It’s as simple as that.

Of course, faith is required to gain knowledge of God, but even the
ones who proclaim their faith in God, reject knowledge of God, and as
a result their faith is useless.

People who sit down at a dinner-table, decked with murdered animals,
and thank God for His bounty, what is the use of their faith, really?

Right now the world is ruled by ungodly people, some of whom even
profess faith in God, but who none the less engage in all kinds of
ungodly activities, and as a result the world is in dire trouble.

Krishna says:

Those who are demoniac do not know what is to be done and what is not
to be done. Neither cleanliness nor proper behavior nor truth is found
in them. (Bg 16.7)

They say that this world is unreal, with no foundation, no God in
control. They say it is produced of sex desire and has no cause other
than lust. (Bg. 16.8)

Following such conclusions, the demoniac, who are lost to themselves
and who have no intelligence, engage in unbeneficial, horrible works
meant to destroy the world. (Bg. 16.9)

Taking shelter of insatiable lust and absorbed in the conceit of pride
and false prestige, the demoniac, thus illusioned, are always sworn to
unclean work, attracted by the impermanent. (Bg. 16.10)

They believe that to gratify the senses is the prime necessity of
human civilization. Thus until the end of life their anxiety is
immeasurable. Bound by a network of hundreds of thousands of desires
and absorbed in lust and anger, they secure money by illegal means for
sense gratification. (Bg. 16.11-12)

The demoniac person thinks: "So much wealth do I have today, and I
will gain more according to my schemes. So much is mine now, and it
will increase in the future, more and more. He is my enemy, and I have
killed him, and my other enemies will also be killed. I am the lord of
everything. I am the enjoyer. I am perfect, powerful and happy. I am
the richest man, surrounded by aristocratic relatives. There is none
so powerful and happy as I am. I shall perform sacrifices, I shall
give some charity, and thus I shall rejoice." In this way, such
persons are deluded by ignorance. (Bg. 16. 13-15)

Thus perplexed by various anxieties and bound by a network of
illusions, they become too strongly attached to sense enjoyment and
fall down into hell. (Bg. 16.16)

Srila Prabhupada explains:

The demoniac man knows no limit to his desire to acquire money. That
is unlimited. He thinks only of how much assessment he has just now
and schemes to engage that stock of wealth further and further. For
that reason, he does not hesitate to act in any sinful way and so
deals in the black market for illegal gratification.

He is enamored by the possessions he has already, such as land,
family, house and bank balance, and he is always planning to improve
them. He believes in his own strength, and he does not know that
whatever he is gaining is due to his past good deeds.

He is given an opportunity to accumulate such things, but he has no
conception of past causes. He simply thinks that all his mass of
wealth is due to his own endeavor. A demoniac person believes in the
strength of his personal work, not in the law of karma.

According to the law of karma, a man takes his birth in a high family,
or becomes rich, or very well educated, or very beautiful because of
good work in the past. The demoniac think that all these things are
accidental and due to the strength of one's personal ability.

They do not sense any arrangement behind all the varieties of people,
beauty and education. Anyone who comes into competition with such a
demoniac man is his enemy. There are many demoniac people, and each is
enemy to the others. This enmity becomes more and more deep -- between
persons, then between families, then between societies, and at last
between nations. Therefore there is constant strife, war and enmity
all over the world.

Each demoniac person thinks that he can live at the sacrifice of all
others. Generally, a demoniac person thinks of himself as the Supreme
God, and a demoniac preacher tells his followers: "Why are you seeking
God elsewhere? You are all yourselves God! Whatever you like, you can
do. Don't believe in God. Throw away God. God is dead." These are the
demoniac's preachings.

Although the demoniac person sees others equally rich and influential,
or even more so, he thinks that no one is richer than he and that no
one is more influential than he. As far as promotion to the higher
planetary system is concerned, he does not believe in performing
yajnas, or sacrifices.

Demons think that they will manufacture their own process of yajna and
prepare some machine by which they will be able to reach any higher
planet. The best example of such a demoniac man was Ravana.

He offered a program to the people by which he would prepare a
staircase so that anyone could reach the heavenly planets without
performing sacrifices, such as are prescribed in the Vedas. Similarly,
in the present age such demoniac men are striving to reach the higher
planetary systems by mechanical arrangements.

These are examples of bewilderment. The result is that, without their
knowledge, they are gliding toward hell. Here the Sanskrit word
moha-jala is very significant. Jala means "net"; like fish caught in a
net, they have no way to come out.

So you know hell?
Everyone knows hell.

A house, a table, a computer, a bike, a car, etc. Pretty much anything
man-made is not alive. Human made machines are dead matter.

God, in comparison, uses units of life, souls, to build living
machines.

Take a moment, and actually look at your body as a machine. You will
see that when it comes to building machines, God’s engineering is far
superior.

Humans make machines out of dead matter. God makes machines out of
life.

Krishna says:

Earth, water, fire, air, ether, mind, intelligence and false ego --
all together these eight constitute My separated material energies.
--Bg 7.4

Besides these, O mighty-armed Arjuna, there is another, superior
energy of Mine, which comprises the living entities who are exploiting
the resources of this material, inferior nature. --Bg 7.5

Srila Prabhupada explains:

Here it is clearly mentioned that living entities belong to the
superior nature (or energy) of the Supreme Lord. The inferior energy
is matter manifested in different elements, namely earth, water, fire,
air, ether, mind, intelligence and false ego. Both forms of material
nature, namely gross (earth, etc.) and subtle (mind, etc.), are
products of the inferior energy.

The living entities, who are exploiting these inferior energies for
different purposes, are the superior energy of the Supreme Lord, and
it is due to this energy that the entire material world functions.

The cosmic manifestation has no power to act unless it is moved by the
superior energy, the living entity. Energies are always controlled by
the energetic, and therefore the living entities are always controlled
by the Lord -- they have no independent existence.

They are never equally powerful, as unintelligent men think. The
distinction between the living entities and the Lord is described in
Srimad-Bhagavatam (10.87.30) as follows:

"O Supreme Eternal! If the embodied living entities were eternal and
all-pervading like You, then they would not be under Your control. But
if the living entities are accepted as minute energies of Your
Lordship, then they are at once subject to Your supreme control.
Therefore real liberation entails surrender by the living entities to
Your control, and that surrender will make them happy.

In that constitutional position only can they be controllers.
Therefore, men with limited knowledge who advocate the monistic theory
that God and the living entities are equal in all respects are
actually guided by a faulty and polluted opinion."

The Supreme Lord, Krishna, is the only controller, and all living
entities are controlled by Him. These living entities are His superior
energy because the quality of their existence is one and the same with
the Supreme, but they are never equal to the Lord in quantity of
power.

While exploiting the gross and subtle inferior energy (matter), the
superior energy (the living entity) forgets his real spiritual mind
and intelligence. This forgetfulness is due to the influence of matter
upon the living entity.

But when the living entity becomes free from the influence of the
illusory material energy, he attains the stage called mukti, or
liberation. The false ego, under the influence of material illusion,
thinks, "I am matter, and material acquisitions are mine."

His actual position is realized when he is liberated from all material
ideas, including the conception of his becoming one in all respects
with God. Therefore one may conclude that the Gita confirms the living
entity to be only one of the multi-energies of Krishna; and when this
energy is freed from material contamination, it becomes fully Krishna
conscious, or liberated.

And what about all the various species of carnivores, like cats, dogs, lions, tigers, leopards, jaguars, wolves, coyotes, wolverines, minks, weasles, dolphins, sharks, Tasmanian devils, etc.? Does Krishna expect them to become herbivores, or are they all expected to go extinct at his bidding? If the latter, what is to keep the herbivores from becoming a threat to the ecosystem through overpopulation, because there are no carnivores keeping their numbers in check?

Hey, Jesper/Jahnu, I'm waiting for a response, where are you? How about it? You pretend to be so fond of Nature, let's see you reconcile it with Krishna's dogma.

There is nothing nature hates more than atheism. That's why she is in
the process of removing the present consumer culture from her surface.

"The probability that life arose by a coincidence can be likened to
the probability that a voluminous encyclopedia be the result of an
explosion in a print shop." - Biologist Edwin Conklin

"From my earliest training as a scientist I was very strongly
brainwashed to believe that science cannot be consistent with any kind
of deliberate creation. That notion has had to be painfully shed. I am
quite uncomfortable in this situation, the state of mind I now find
myself in. But there is no logical way out of it. I now find myself
driven to this position by logic. There is no other way in which we
can understand the precise ordering of the chemicals of life except to
invoke the creations on a cosmic scale. . . We were hoping as
scientists that there would be a way round our conclusion, but there
isn’t."

Daily Express, Aug. 14, 1981. & Hoyle On Evolution. Nature, Nov. 12,
1981, 105

The hypothesis that life evolved from inorganic matter is still to
this day a matter of belief. - Matematician J. W. N. Sullivan

"A common sense interpretation of the facts suggests that a
superintellect has monkeyed with physics, as well as with chemistry
and biology, and that there are no blind forces worth speaking about
in nature. The numbers one calculates from the facts seem to me so
overwhelming as to put this conclusion almost beyond question." - Fred
Hoyle, astrophysicist

"I find it as difficult to understand a scientist who does not
acknowledge the presence of a superior rationality behind the
existence of the universe as it is to comprehend a theologian who
would deny the advances of science." - Wernher von Braun

"The gift of mental power comes from God, Divine Being, and if we
concetrate our minds on that truth, we become in tune with this great
power." - Nikola Tesla

"The most beautiful system of the sun, planets, and comets, could only
proceed from the counsel and dominion of an intelligent and powerful
Being." - Isaac Newton

God created everything by number, weight and measure. - Isaac Newton
"The cardinal error of science lies in shutting the Creator out of His
Creation." - Walter Russell, Doctor of Science

"It is true, that a little philosophy inclineth man’s mind to atheism,
but depth in philosophy bringeth men's minds about to religion; for
while the mind of man looketh upon second causes scattered, it may
sometimes rest in them, and go no further; but when it beholdeth the
chain of them confederate, and linked together, it must needs fly to
Providence and Deity." - Sir Francis Bacon

Religion and science are opposed ... but only in the same sense as
that in which my thumb and forefinger are opposed - and between the
two, one can grasp everything. - Sir William Bragg, Nobel Prize in
Physics 1915

"My religiosity consists in a humble admiration of the infinitely
superior spirit that reveals itself in the little that we, with our
weak and transitory understanding, can comprehend of reality." -
Albert Einstein

"As a man who has devoted his whole life to the most clearheaded
science, to the study of matter, I can tell you as a result of my
research about the atoms this much: There is no matter as such! All
matter originates and exists only by virtue of a force which brings
the particles of an atom to vibration and holds this most minute solar
system of the atom together. . . . We must assume behind this force
the existence of a conscious and intelligent Mind. This Mind is the
matrix of all matter." -- Max Planck

"Science cannot solve the ultimate mystery of nature. And that is
because, in the last analysis, we ourselves are a part of the mystery
that we are trying to solve." --Max Planck

"Then we shall...be able to take part in the discussion of the
question of why it is that we and the universe exist. If we find the
answer to that, it would be the ultimate triumph of human reason - for
then we would know the mind of God." - Steven Hawkings

"It seems to me that when confronted with the marvels of life and the
universe, one must ask why and not just how. The only possible answers
are religious. . . . I find a need for God in the universe and in my
own life." - Arthur L. Schawlow, Professor of Physics at Stanford
University, 1981 Nobel Prize in physics

"It seems to me pretty plain there is a third thing in the universe -
consciousness - which i cannot see to be matter, force or any
conceivable modification of either". Biologist Thomas Huxley.

" I regard consciousness as fundamental. I regard matter as a
derivative from consciousness. We cannot get behind consciousness.
Everything we talk about, everything we regard as existing, postulates
consciousness ". The father of modern day physics Max Planck.

"We can admittedly find nothing in physics or chemistry which has even
a remote bearing on consciousness, yet all of us know there is such a
thing simply because we have it ourselves. Hence consciousness must be
part of nature or more generally reality. Which means that quite apart
from the laws laid down in quantum theory, we must also consider laws
of quite a different kind”. Nobel prize winner Niels Bohr

"Consciousness is part of our universe, so any physical theory which
makes no proper place for it falls fundamentally short of providing a
genuine description of the world. A scientific world-view which does
not profoundly come to terms with the problem of conscious minds can
have no serious pretensions of completeness." -- Roger Penrose

"When the province of physical theory was extended to encompass
microscopic phenomena through the creation of quantum mechanics, the
concept of consciousness came to the fore again. It was not possible
to formulate the laws of quantum mechanics in a fully consistent way
without reference to the consciousness." Eugene Wigner.

"It will remain remarkable, in whatever way our future concepts may
develop, that the very study of the external world led to the
scientific conclusion that the content of the consciousness is the
ultimate universal reality" --Physicist, Nobel Laurette Eugene Wigner.

Everybody knows evolution happens. Many Christians embrace
evolution even though it means rejecting Genesis and original
sin. Some are offended at the thought of being just another
animal, the product of a thoughtless process. Some come to
A.A. to try to convince themselves they are above the rest of
the animal kingdom.
You may be an animal. I'm not.

Evolution is probably the most common myth, people in general hold to
be true. Of course, most scientists know that evolution is pure
belief, with no evidence to back it up, still, this belief is being
taught in all educational institutions of the world, as a scientific
fact.

Before science came along, people needed religion to tell them about
the world. Religion taught people that God created the world, that God
was the original cause if everything.

Now a days, of course, we know better, because now we have science to
tell us how the world works. Today we we know that chemicals combined
to create life and then evolution created all the different living
entities.

The theory of evolution according to Darwin, is not even a theory
anymore. It’s been updated to science. For the last five decades or
so, evolution has been propagated to the general populace as a
scientific fact.

So lets examine how existence is accounted for by evolution, and see
if it makes any sense.

You see, first there was a pool of chemicals. Then, by the
fluctuations of those chemicals, an amoeba-like creature was formed,
and then this amoeba gradually, through many, many intermediate
species, grew legs and learned to talk.

Ok, so far so good. Don’t even think about whether the first human was
a male or female, that’s just an annoying detail, you don’t have to
worry about. Such annoying details are not taught in evolution.

Then, how did the first human learn to talk, when there was no one to
talk to? That’s another annoying detail they don’t teach in evolution.

So, you are the first human on the planet, completely alone, no one to
talk to. So what do you do? Do you sit down and wait for your counter
part to evolve, so you can begin procreating? Maybe you grunt a little
bit under your breath at the sheer idiocy of your situation.

hahaha :D I know, right? Who comes up with shit like that?

Also when your counter-part finally evolves, you can begin grunting
together and evolve some kind of language. Of course, don’t ask what
language a evolved, and speken by the first people, that’s another
annoying detail. As far as we know Sanskrit is the mother of all
languages, and how that fits into evolution is not yet clear.

Note, in contrast to the sheer idiocy of this evolution nonsense, and
it’s linear concept of time, the logical, coherent and authentic
explanation we are offered in the Vedic tradition - humans have simply
always existed. Time is cyclic - civilizations goes through endless
cycles of creation, maintenance, and destruction, age after age. At
least that explanation makes sense to a rational mind.

The modern explanation of evolution is not only improbable and highly
speculative, wishful thinking, it is also complete and utter
anti-intellectual garbage.

Still, it is being taught in all universities as an objective,
scientific fact. It is considered completely rational and the best
explanation according to observable facts. They actually teach you
that in school - evolution is the best explanation we have right now
to explain the world.

Of course, nobody with a brain actually believes in this nonsense, but
this is how it is being propagated to the broad masses.

The fact is that modern mainstream people are brainwashed fools. They
don’t have so much as one single independent thought in their brains.
If they didn’t have TV, newspapers and magazines to tell them what to
think and believe, they’d be up the proverbial creek without a paddle.

It’s a statistic fact that the general mass of people are more
disturbed and dissatisfied than ever before. Anti-depressants are
selling like never before. Some years ago WHO reported that the
biggest health problem facing humanity in the new millennium is that
more and more people will be born with mental problems. Is that the
symptoms of an evolved civilization?

It's rather peculiar how people in this scientific age are so little
scientifically oriented when it comes to God and religion. The dogma
has been created in modern society, that religion is faith only and
science is knowledge only. That’s hardly a scientific approach to
religion and God.

I can understand, how one may reject certain religions, but to
downright deny the existence of a Supreme Being is simply irrational,
and indicates an unevolved intellect.

There is nothing healthy or open-minded about being an atheist, and
the proof is that at the same rate society dispenses with its former
religious values, at the same rate society becomes debased, riddled
with crime and insanity.

Besides, it should be noted, that whether one calls himself a
Christian, Hindu, Mohammedan, Democrat, Republican or whatever, one
can still be of an atheistic mentality. It is not the designations we
put on ourselves that determine our identity. It's our mindsets and
actions and the knowledge we cultivate that define who we are.

There is a Bengali saying - phalena parichiyate - something is judged
by its result. Or, like Jesus said - you judge a tree by its fruits.
So things are judged and understood, not by their names, but by their
effects and influence. And the effect modern society has on the world
is one of destruction. Again, are those the symptoms of an evolved
culture?

In conclusion, here is what science has to say about evolution.

"Scientists who go about teaching that evolution is a fact of life are
great con-men, And the story they are telling may be the GREATEST HOAX
EVER." -- Dr.T.N.Tahmisian, Atomic Energy Commission

"We must concede that there are presently no detailed Darwinian
accounts of the evolution of any biochemical or cellular system, only
a variety of wishful speculations." -- Franklin Harold, Emeritus
Professor of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at Colorado State
University, in an Oxford University Press text.

And when there is no one vanquished, it means there is no pixie!!!!!
Who ever said there was a pixie, Gook retard?

The role religion should play the next 50 years is the same role
religion has always played - uniting people around God. That’s the
intended idea of religion, anyway. That religions have fought among
themselves over who has the best version of God is another matter.

According to the Vedic Version, which is the best version of God
available anywhere on the planet, God has 3 main energies - the
internal potency, which manifests the eternal, spiritual world; the
external potency, which manifests the material world, and the
intermediate potency, which is the individual souls.

The soul is called tatastha-shakti, or intermediate potency because it
can either be under the influence of Krishna's spiritual potency or
His material, illusory potency. The soul possesses a minute degree of
free will in that it can choose to be ruled by Krishna's internal
potency or by His external potency. The soul is never independent like
God, it is always dependent.

Those souls who have declared their independence from God, are sent to
the material world, where, instead of depending on God, they are
forced to depend on nature.

The soul is an atomic particle of God's consciousness and cannot exist
in an independent state, much like the spark cannot exist without the
fire. The soul is always dependent. It will be ruled by Krishna,
either directly through His internal potency or indirectly through His
external, material potency - the illusion called Maya.

When the soul is governed by by Krishna's spiritual potency, it exists
in its original, eternal position of knowledge and bliss. When it is
governed by Krishna's material energy - Maya - the soul exists in
forgetfulness and ignorance of its real position, misidentifying with
its physical body and mind.

Bhakti-yoga, or devotional service to God, is the scientific method of
leading the soul back from its present deluded condition, back to its
original position as part of Krishna's spiritual energy.

And that is also religion. The word re-ligio, from Latin, means to
re-connect. We know the word lego, which means 'I connect'. So
religion is not just some sectarian belief in God, like less
intelligent people like to assert, it is a process by which to connect
to God.

The same word in Sanskrit is yoga, which means to connect or unite.
Again, we know that from the English word yoke, as in 'he yoked the
wagon to the ox'. So yoga or religion is the science of uniting with
God.

Krishna says:

My dear Arjuna, because you are never envious of Me, I shall impart to
you this most confidential knowledge and realization, knowing which
you shall be relieved of the miseries of material existence. (Bg. 9.1)

This knowledge is the king of education, the most secret of all
secrets. It is the purest knowledge, and because it gives direct
perception of the self by realization, it is the perfection of
religion. It is everlasting, and it is joyfully performed. (Bg. 9.2)

Then why does He still love you, and offer you your own
special home in His eternal kingdom of love, happiness

Because that's part of the God myth. That any entity loves you unconditionally is nonsense and impossible.
Love comes from recognizing the virtues of another and wanting to insure that other's happiness. Not simply because you exist.

Since there is no evidence of any God or gods there is no point speculating on it.

God is pure imagination.
But all it would take to prove wrong is some valid evidence that God exists.

None has ever been offered.
Its all still imaginary.

There is no special home in in His eternal kingdom of love, happiness
and good things. There can't be since God doesn't exist.
No Satan either, without God to create Satan he can't exist either.

God is pure imagination.
You obviously have no idea, Cloudboy.

God exists, and He has given life advice in Bhagavad Gita. That’s why
the Bhagavad GIta is called the song of God.

"I owed a magnificent day to the Bhagavad Geeta. It was the first of
books; it was as if an empire spoke to us, nothing small or unworthy,
but large, serene, consistent, the voice of an old intelligence which
in another age and climate had pondered and thus disposed of the same
questions which exercise us." -- Ralph Waldo Emerson

Bhagavad Gita is the only book on the planet in which God Himself
gives detailed knowledge about Himself, the soul and the world, and
how they are meant to inter-relate. In fact, Krishna’s teachings are
the pinnacle of philosophy and religion. The philosophy delivered by
Krishna in Bhagavad Gita is without a doubt the most complete and
scientific explanation of reality available anywhere in the world at
all time. Bhagavad Gita is the user-manual on life issued by God to
humanity.

"The reader is nowhere raised into and sustained in a bigger, purer or
rarer region of thought than in the Bhagavad Gita" — Henry David
Thoreau

Krishna says:

My dear Arjuna, because you are never envious of Me, I shall impart to
you this most confidential knowledge and realization, knowing which
you shall be relieved of the miseries of material existence. (Bg. 9.1)

This knowledge is the king of education, the most secret of all

You might want to take some English lessons :D

The human form of life is a unique chance for the soul to realize its
true, spiritual nature. As long as we identify with the body and its
culture, we will remain in illusion, and be attacked by all kinds of
problems. As soon as one realizes that he is not the body, but the
soul within, problems like for instance racism, vanish.

One who neglects to seek out his spiritual nature, his real identity
as a soul, which is only possible in the human life-form, sends a
signal to nature that one does not need to be human, and one will be
sent back to yet another cycle in the lower life-forms.

A human who does not seek spiritual realization is in fact no better
than an animal.

Krishna says:

One who identifies his self as the inert body composed of mucus, bile
and air, who assumes his wife and family are permanently his own, who
thinks an earthen image or the land of his birth is worshipable, or
who sees a place of pilgrimage as merely the water there, but who
never identifies himself with, feels kinship with, worships or even
visits those who are wise in spiritual truth -- such a person is no
better than a cow or an ass. --SB 10.84.13

By focusing on the language, you completely overlooked the spiritual meaning.
We are already living in the greatest turning point in history. It is
quite apparent that nature is in the process of removing the present
consumer civilization from her surface. It must be so, because a
golden age of 10,000 years of God-consciousness has been predicted by
the Gaudiya Vaishnava acharyas.

This period began 500 years ago with the descent of Sri Krishna
Chaitanya Mahaprabhu in West Bengal. Chaitanya Mahaprabhu is Krishna
Himself, come to deliver a most fallen, misdirected humanity by the
Hare Krishna maha-mantra.

Chaitanya Maharabhu says:

"In every town and village of the world, the chanting of My name will
be heard." --Chaitanya Bhagavat, Antya-khanda 4.126

Nityananda Prabhu ( who is Lord Balaram) also told Jiva Goswami that a
great temple would rise in Mayapur, from which the glories of Krishna
would spread all over the world. This prediction from 500 years ago is
right now being fulfilled by ISKCON.

And Srila Prabhupada was predicted by Krishna Himself.
Krishna says (to Ganga):

After the first 5,000 years of Kaliyuga has elapsed, a pure devotee
will be born and he will spread the chanting of Krishna's holy names
all over the world. (Brahma Vaivarta Purana)

Also, it was foretold by Bhaktivinode Thakur more than a hundred years
ago:

"Very soon the unparalleled path of hari-nama sankirtana will be
propagated all over the world. Oh, for that day when the fortunate
English, French, Russian, German, and American people will take up
banners, mridangas, and karatalas and raise kirtana through their
streets and towns! When will that day come?"

(Srila Bhaktivinoda Thakura, Sajjana Tosani 4.3, 'Nityadharma
Suryodoy' 1885)

Of course, the golden age, even though it began 500 years ago, cannot
really take root before the present demon culture that rules the world
at present has been removed. So we are living at a point in history
where this is actually happening. The present human civilization shows
all the symptoms of a culture on the way out.

In cosmic time it was just a short nightmarish flash.

Vishnu says:

When one resents the demigods, who represent God, the Vedas, which
give all knowledge, the cows, brahmanas, Vaisnavas and religious
principles, and ultimately Me, the Supreme, he and his civilization
will be vanquished without delay. -- Srimad Bhagavatam 7.4.27

Who vanquished in this period beginning with the descent of Krishna?
Obviously, nobody is an atheist due to lack of evidence of God. In
fact, the last thing an atheist wants, is proof of God. The whole
world is proof of an intelligent designer. One becomes an atheist when
one does not want God in his life, not because there is no proof of
God. It’s as simple as that.

I mean, I can understand why someone would be against certain
religions. The theology of the Abrahamic religions, for instance, is
largely sectarian nonsense.

But to deny the obvious intelligent design observable in nature, to
actually suggest the world created itself out of a bunch of chemicals,
that’s just plain dumb.

Of course, only God can prove who He is, but there is empiric proof of
His existence. The irreducible complexity of living organisms is the
logical proof of the Intelligent Design of nature.

So ID is a direct, observable fact of nature.

Thus, ID comprises the empirical proof of God.
Irreducible complexity is like a car engine, where all the parts of
the engine are interdependent in their functions. The cylinders
function only in combination with the pistons, the pistons function
only in connection with the spark plugs, the spark plugs depend on the
electric system for their function, and son on. All the components of
the engine work only in combination with each-other.
In other words, a car engine is only functional as a complete unit. If
one component fails, the whole engine fails. Hence the term
irreducible complexity.

IOW, the idea that abiogenesis and evolution, with no guiding
intelligence behind it, produced all the living species, is basically
an affront to a working intellect.

To say, like atheists do, that the universe created itself out of a
bunch of chemicals, is like saying that a Mercedes Benz created itself
without any creative intelligence behind it.

Professor Werner Gitt, who works in the field of information science
writes:

“There is no known natural law through which matter can give rise to
information, neither is there any physical process or material
phenomenon known that can do this. All languages, alphabets, and codes
that we know of, as well as the information spoken or written in them,
originated in minds. The blind faith of the atheist that the first
life was an exception to this fact is contrary to all known evidence.”
(Werner Gitt, In the Beginning Was Information, 1997, p. 79)

In my mind, however, apart from the fact that the ID observable in
nature is proof of God, and, say, if one’s brain is not equipped to
handle logic and reason, the best proof of God is that you become
totally happy by adding Krishna to your life.
Someone may object - you also become happy by smoking some dope or
winning the lottery, or having sex, what’s the difference? How is that
proof of God?

The thing about bodily or mental pleasures, though, is that they don’t
make the soul happy. Connecting to Krishna makes the soul happy, and
contrary to sense-gratification, which always ends in misery and
leaves you frustrated, the happiness of the soul is a constant fact.
Not only does the happiness of the soul not end, it only increases
more and more. It’s a deep and lasting bliss that is never interrupted
by suffering.

Sure, you may break a leg, your wife may leave you, your children may
think you’re a complete loser, or you may be depressed due to lack of
money, but the deep satisfaction of Krishna consciousness, once
established, never leaves the heart. And that’s the proof that Krishna
is God.

So, as the saying goes - the proof of the pudding is in the eating.

Krishna says:

O learned Uddhava, those who fix their consciousness on Me, giving up
all material desires, share with Me a happiness that cannot possibly
be experienced by those engaged in sense gratification. --Srimad
Bhagavatam 11.14.12

"The soul is atomic in size and can be perceived by perfect
intelligence. This atomic soul is floating in the five kinds of air
[prana, apana, vyana, samana and udana]. The soul is situated within
the heart, and it spreads its influence all over the body of the
embodied living entities. When the soul is purified from the
contamination of the five kinds of material air, its spiritual
influence is exhibited."

There is no other way in which we
can understand the precise ordering of the chemicals of life except to
invoke the creations on a cosmic scale. . . We were hoping as
scientists that there would be a way round our conclusion, but there
isn’t."

"As a man who has devoted his whole life to the most clearheaded

research about the atoms this much: There is no matter as such! All
matter originates and exists only by virtue of a force which brings
the particles of an atom to vibration and holds this most minute solar
system of the atom together. . . . We must assume behind this force
the existence of a conscious and intelligent Mind. This Mind is the

then we would know the mind of God." - Steven Hawkings
"It seems to me that when confronted with the marvels of life and the

How do people live without faith in God?
Faith in WHAT FUCKING GOD, brainwashed moron who can't think beyond
his religious fantasies?
You are doing exactly what Jahnu wants.
Jahnu doesn't care about religion or animals.
He is hurting and wants to hurt others.

He's been hurting for years. I have a very strong feeling that he hasn't
really been a Krishnaite for a very long time. But, he's probably been
totally ditched by his family and doesn't have anyone close. He wanted
security, but at what a price. He's a Dane, but he's lost Denmark. He's
just a hate-filled, shriveled up old man with no one who gives a damn,
about him. And because he's dreadfully lonely and nasty, he strives to
get attention the same way ArtieJoe does - by trying to make people
angry. That is very sad. He is a mentally ill troll, and there is
nothing we can do to help him.

A better question would be - how do people live without knowledge of
God? Seriously, who gives a hoot what people have faith in?
A confused loon like you can never understand how to live in a human world!

The world is how we live, with our common sense...not religious bullshit which merely wants your money and your thoughts!

The in-your-face idiot conflates knowledge and belief.

If he hadn't joined a cult to take care of him, Jesper would have
shuffled off this mortal coil a long, long time ago, probably in a
manner that would earn him a Darwin Award.

You, obviously. You're obsessed with it to the point of lunacy.
