Wow, that has got to be so messed up. It is so evil to be singing "Singing
in the Rain" and beating up a guy and about to rape the same guy's wife. I
haven't finished watching it yet, but wwwooooaaa that is messed up.

**Hey, Rags! I just remember that you were frustrated with it at some
point. :) I liked MP a lot. Visually awesome, etc., but it was a
big-time button masher and I pulped my hands and wrists playing it.
Also, it's not going to be replayed at all. Too much running around
all over the same place again and again. That made me a little crazy
but it was very satisfying to beat it. Honestly, I kicked its ass only
after it kicked mine many a time :) I just kept going until I got
really good at it.

The only 2 points that I had any REAL trouble is the last boss which was a
complete pain in the ass, and the next to last boss and that was only
because my index finger was hurting from too much button mashing over the
past however long I'd been playing it that I had to take a few days off.

adverse to using a strategy guide (like at gamefaqs) though.

Rags, I'm thinking about getting a PS2. GT4 looks good! My Xbox is
officially kaput. Stupid defective DVD drive. I might get another one
of those for Halo 2! and some other games.

Also! Guess what!? I bought a Panasonic DVD recorder! A dmr-e85h. What
brand of media do you use in your recorders? Have any of your pannys
had problems with TDK media? I bought a small pack of Memorex and a
small pack of TDK (mainly to test) then subsequently read that some
people have had problems with TDK and their e85. I bought some Maxells
made in Japan for serious archiving (of VHS tapes). I plan on using
Japanese media not Taiwanese for my own personal archiving. Any
thoughts?

When I get tired of a game. I will cheat, steal, murder and kill to finish
it. I have no moral dilemma using cheat codes. When a game has to be
finished it has to be finished by hook or by crook. I will!!!

I haven't noticed anything, but I'm not sliding in my TDK discs to rewatch

walked out with a cheapie DVD player for me. (It can be region hacked

a Region 2 PAL disc. My aged DVD player still works and I'll continue
to use it to avoid putting the mileage on the cheapie.

While at Best Buy, I noticed some utterly droolworthy TV sets. They

great. I can't see replacing stuff that still works.

sale this week for $15. I noticed Prince of Persia: Sands of Time.
Someone heavily recommended it to me awhile back. Have you ever played

formats. It's relatively cheap, can be remote-hacked for different
regions, will convert PAL to NTSC and will do diff. formats. At the
hometheaterhifi website they have a page called Secrets Archive or
something like that. It's pretty technical but they test the crap out
of a bunch of different machines (from cheap to expensive). It's
really cool. Based on that, I bought the Magnavox over the Philips,
but if the Magnavox doesn't do it for me, I'll get the Philips. Yes, I
know that a Magnavox is a Philips. My old clunker is a
Philips/Magnavox.

I should say: I hope all of the above works, I have to borrow
a Region 2 PAL disc. My aged DVD player still works and I'll continue
to use it to avoid putting the mileage on the cheapie.
I've put mine in cold storage. I really don't know what to do with
it..... Give it to GoodWill or sell it?? Its probably worth $5 now.....
So I might be charitable.....
**Save it! They don't make big, long-lasting electronic appliances
anymore. Everything is cheap and plasticky. I'm willing to pay more if
I know it's not going to crap out in a year. Doing some
reading/researching, there are some old VCRs that are in demand from
techies because they are old, reliable workhorses.

While at Best Buy, I noticed some utterly droolworthy TV sets. They
were showing a PBS Europe-by-Air program. Completely gorgeous. I have
a 25 or 27 inch Samsung that I bought in 1996. It works fine and looks
great. I can't see replacing stuff that still works.
I'd replace mine in a New York minute, bbbbbbuuuuuuutttttt I don't have
the dough rae me to get the new electronic gadgets. I still haven't
gotten a PDA. The thing is I'd probably use it only put in appointments
only..... and where would I keep it on myself??? I can't put it in my
pockets!!!!!!
/me PDA going snap
**A little normal calendar suits me fine. I'm boring.

**Well, I have to take the machine back :( My mistake, I bought the
wrong model. I bought the Magnavox 45617 when I wanted a 45817. What a
pain. Off to Best Buy tomorrow. At least I didn't open it.
OOPs....... :-)
**I was so peeved that I went to Best Buy that night and returned it.
Then I went to Circuit City and bought the 45817. I borrowed a couple
of PAL R2 DVDs and I just have to hook it up and see if it'll work.

I didn't respond earlier than this because I've been in Computer Game
Nirvana. I've been on the Sims 2 game for sessions up to 12 hours. On one
weekend day I was messing with it for 18 hours. I stopped on the 18 hour
session when the program crashed.... Its so fecking addicting..... Oh,
and all my families are lesbians..... AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANNNNNNNNNNNDDD
YOU CAN GET THE WOMEN PREGNANT. That my friend is some fucked up
shit..... They are pregnant for 4 Sim days......
**Dude! Back away from the computer slowly. Another one falls to the
allure of Simcrack.

Oh, and the WEIRD thing is the FAT PEOPLE are just a little plump not
Ruben big!!!! The women (not when they are pregnant) are the size of 60's

price of a PS2 and get one for my brother-in-law. He'll love the Gran
Turismo games. I asked Santa for another Xbox :) I'm not holding my
breath though.

I SAW a DVD player that can view DVD-R, RW, +R, AND RAM!!!! If I get
another dvd player it will be something like that. I don't think its a
Magnavox(SP?) though.

I just can't believe how much space is taken up on my DVD+R's. The fair
setting takes up the whole disc and you only get 30 minutes of
content!!!!!!!!!!! What the fuck is up with that??????????????? They are
other settings that take up more room than that with less
content!!!!!!!!!!!!!

**Fair? Which recorder has that setting? As you know, XP is the best
(quality) speed on the Panasonic e85 and that's an hour on one disc. I
have noticed that some brick and mortar places are having good sales
on blank media. Office Depot (I think) has a 15-pk Maxell DVD-/+Rs for
$5. I think those -Rs are made in Japan, too. I think Best Buy has a
50-pk Sony DVD-/+Rs for $20. I love the holiday sales :)

**Okay, I *just* hooked it all up. It was a pain in the ass to get
behind my stereo equipment to hook it up :) so I procrastinated. It
looks and sounds great. Everything's the proper speed (soundwise and
visually). It's a Swedish DVD of the female half of Roxette, Marie
Fredriksson. The disc turned out to be an all region, though. I did
change the region on the player so it still should play R2s.

Bad thing: I tried one DVD-R on it and it had minor problems (tiny
hesitations). I have to do a little more experimenting BUT it doesn't
say anywhere on the box or literature that it's supposed to be able to
handle -R, it only mentions that it can play +R. So it's my fault. :)

Hmmm, Marie's got an awesome band and it's sounding great. I'm
groovin' as I write this!

but cost anywhere from $25 to many hundreds of dollars. While
researching it, I found an internet dealer (out of MI) that also had a
little storefront in an industrial complex near Detroit. I drove in
and found out if you shop there, they knock 20% off so I got him a
really cool car. :)

From what little I know about SVHS you can record normal tapes in them,

BASTARD!! Partying with the trolls and then pantsing them. Watching them
cry like babies. Oh, the comedy, the horror.

I saw him recently in town. He was in his Lambroughni with one of his
four mistresses. I just can't believe he cheats on his wife so much....
She's such a pretty lady. A combination of Jeri Ryan, Kate Winslet, and
Tera Patrick all rolled into one super hot lady with all the best parts
of them.

Talking about impolite while I was talking to DG, his mistress was
sucking him off!! She should have offered to suck me off!! That woman
REALLY needs to study up on Betty Etiquette!!!

See ya........................
