Very sensible. Mrs S does lots of stuff too, but
not with spanners or screwdrivers or electricity.
She does the stuff that I have no clue about,
which is plenty. I fix her Internet and she keeps
me going. I think I'm due for a rebuild soon.

the woman i live with it good ,
she gets out the skill saw to make ,
boxes for her flowers and knows to turn off ,
the electricity before messing with that and ,
she knows when something is more than she should try ,
sometimes she messes up and i laugh but it's usually ,
a common mistake that comes with inexperience ,
watching her hang a bedroom door was a good one

Nearly 22 years here and much the same; although
I encourage her to go off for short holidays by herself -
yoga retreats and painting courses, the sort of things
that she loves and I don't do. I miss her when she's away,
of course, but we don't own our partners and I strive not

There's never any replacing that. What I didn't realize is all those
years together, into the middle-age or late-middle age, hold within them
the actual creation of our own selves. We could look at each other in
the eye and have an hour-long intense, complicated conversation in the
flash of a second. I didn't know any better, but I thought there would
come a day when I'd venture toward more, sir. And I find out we're all
too grown-up with established histories we created with bare hands. It
isn't shared, cannot be shared, cannot be created. Cruise ship romances
or their equivalent, really; that's what's going to have to make do.

Excellent.
One thing is for sure: I wouldn't want to be without mine.
it's been around 20 years and if you add up , all the days
we've been apart i don't think it would make a month
Nearly 22 years here and much the same; although I encourage

of course, but we don't own our partners and I strive not to
put boundaries around mine.
There's never any replacing that. What I didn't realize is all
those years together, into the middle-age or late-middle age,
hold within them the actual creation of our own selves. We
could look at each other in the eye and have an hour-long
intense, complicated conversation in the flash of a second.
Indeed.
I didn't know any better, but I thought there would

come a day when I'd venture toward more, sir. And I find out
we're all too grown-up with established histories we created
with bare hands. It isn't shared, cannot be shared, cannot be
created. Cruise ship romances or their equivalent, really;
that's what's going to have to make do.
There's too much in the past (for me) to even try to build
another relationship.
i'll move in with you and wreck all your stuff ,
and spend all your money
Thanx for the offer but no thanks. Besides, you already have
someone with you.

You could have another relationship, but it would never be the same.
You'd always be comparing things to what you've lost, and that was
something unique. I don't mean to trivialize that by comparing it with
the way I felt about BK, but that's what I've concluded about that
experience. It's over... accept something different and accept it for
what it is, or remain alone. there are no other options.

Hah! My stepdaughter's granddad used to go on mystery
bus tours after he lost his wife; the m:f ratio on them
was about 1 to 10. All the old biddy widder-wimmin were
chasing him; it'd be enough to put a guy in an early grave.

Hah! My stepdaughter's granddad used to go on mystery
bus tours after he lost his wife; the m:f ratio on them
was about 1 to 10. All the old biddy widder-wimmin were
chasing him; it'd be enough to put a guy in an early grave.
see what i mean they're all looking to care for someone
Yeah, thank [whomever]; likewise back at them, too.
i don't need any women they just cut into my posting time

If ever my relationship with my dear good lady came to an end
I can't imagine looking for a replacement; I'm a bit too old for
that now, I think (at least, I think I think).
I know what you mean.
She's the one, right enough; I wish I'd had my kids with her.
I wouldn't rule out friendships, but I don't have the steam
left in me to go chasing, even if I wanted to.

Too old. The "magic" is in your twenties and thirties. That's when
nature tricks you into thinking it's a good idea to bring another
generation into this fucked up world. Now, it's just waiting for the
day you either get some bad news, or suddenly drop dead with no
warning. Life is like a conveyor belt...

True, but sooner or later, one has to deal with the other getting sick
and/or dying. I don't want to go through that at this point.

Nearly 22 years here and much the same; although
I encourage her to go off for short holidays by herself -
yoga retreats and painting courses, the sort of things
that she loves and I don't do. I miss her when she's away,
of course, but we don't own our partners and I strive not
to put boundaries around mine.
There's never any replacing that. What I didn't realize is all those years
together, into the middle-age or late-middle age, hold within them the
actual creation of our own selves. We could look at each other in the eye
and have an hour-long intense, complicated conversation in the flash of a
second. I didn't know any better, but I thought there would come a day
when I'd venture toward more, sir. And I find out we're all too grown-up
with established histories we created with bare hands. It isn't shared,
cannot be shared, cannot be created. Cruise ship romances or their
equivalent, really; that's what's going to have to make do.
If ever my relationship with my dear good lady came to an
end I can't imagine looking for a replacement; I'm a bit
too old for that now, I think (at least, I think I think).
The reality is, you're probably right. I'm way too old to worry about
being with someone again. One of us would die and leave the other
alone in fairly short time anyway.

Excellent.
One thing is for sure: I wouldn't want to be without mine.
it's been around 20 years and if you add up , all the days
we've been apart i don't think it would make a month
Nearly 22 years here and much the same; although
I encourage her to go off for short holidays by herself -
yoga retreats and painting courses, the sort of things
that she loves and I don't do. I miss her when she's away,
of course, but we don't own our partners and I strive not
to put boundaries around mine.
i do the same then she thinks ,

Hah! Treat 'em mean and keep 'em keen!
FTAOD, I jest, of course.

Sadly, there seems to be some truth to that. Kiss their ass, they'll

Girls have no business using tools. I do like an
athletic girl, though. I don't want some fat and
out of shape couch potato.

I think a hot, sweaty, girl who can run or cycle
is sexier than any made-up and perfumed model type.

Hell, I'd say any girl who is fit enough to keep
up with me on a bike can be into her 70's and still
be hawt.

"At what age does a woman arrive where you wouldn't give
a shit?" Not sure I quite understand the question. Sounds
like something a foreigner would say.

I'll give it a shot. If I wouldn't give a shit about
her fitness it would have to be that she was quite
young so as to make fitness a second choice. Age
of arrival, however, usually means puberty and
that's too freaking young as there is no mind
available at that age.

There's got to be a mind behind those fetching
eyes or it's a turn off for me even if the woman
is fit as a fiddle.

One arrives at the age of 9 or 42 or 63 or 101... I could say, "How old
is too old".

But what is one to do when every young female recoils in shuddering
disgust at the mere sight of a male over his mid-20's?

(Seventeen nieces give me the authority to use this as sworn testimony).

Have you ever seen a large, festive room on Christmas Eve blazing with
females ages 9-23 screaming and laughing amongst themselves when the
subject of "dirty old men" comes up? Humbling. Very humbling.

I should say so, who wants an airhead? IMO the
most attractive aspect of a partner is their mind.
Beauty is only skin deep and what's more, it fades.

I couldn't abide a fat chick, but I'm not overly picky about looks. I
wouldn't want to be with a real-life Barbie doll, because they're way
too high maintenance, and I'm not young enough or rich enough to keep
one "interested" in me for long.

Don't talk about your mom like that.
She's been dead for sometime, so you are into *that* eh? Sick fuck.

Do you think live music will be at the shin dig?
Yes, Emmett will be performing his all-time hits on the karaoke machine.
I've heard him, I'm suprised he didn't get signed years ago.

She's a keeper.
she likes trying to do all this sort of stuff ,
i leave her to it and only intervene when she calls me
Very sensible.
I like girls who like to work with tools and make things, instead of
just worrying about looking "pretty" constantly. There's more to
life than being just eye candy or human decoration for the guys.
What about Wave-ya?
janithor will expect you to know what this means right off
wait for it...
wave this beotch!
You probably prefer Greg's trannies. er, I mean, chicks with "very
large clits".
If I had to choose between them and the skank hoes you pay for, then I
guess so.

Great, now I look like an asshole. Do you have any sisters?

I know, right? I still tear up every time I hear "Every Rose Has Its
