[sigh]. When have you ever listened to something that is contrary to
your personal will??

Nevertheless, the bible is a bunch of stories that anyone can point a
finger at and call hooey/poppycock. Talking donkey, parting the Red
Sea, born of a virgin and so on and on. However, what nobody can call
hooey/poppycock and be honest is the resonance of the bible.

For instance, take the story of the parable son. Was there actually a
prodigal son with a father who gave him his inheritance, who ended up
with the pigs and returned home?? It does not matter!

What is the resonance of the story though??

A boy who thought he knew what was best for himself, took for granted
all that he had, and was humbled to learn and understand what he did
have. That the most valuable thing, the treasure of his life was...the
love of his father...The Love of the Father.

See the resonance?

And so it is, the bible is the truth because of that resonance, the
resonance of God Himself and His ways.

Take the story of the concubine that was gang raped
all night long.. She was cut into 12 pieces and the
pieces distributed throughout the nation. Cool, huh?

...only in the sense that it would give kids nightmares for the rest
of their lives. Hopefully the religious morons don't teach that vile
Biblical crap to the kids in Sunday school. Extracted from Judges
19-30:

25 But the men would not listen to him. So the man took his concubine
and sent her outside to them, and they raped her and abused her
throughout the night, and at dawn they let her go. 26 At daybreak the
woman went back to the house where her master was staying, fell down
at the door and lay there until daylight.

27 When her master got up in the morning and opened the door of the
house and stepped out to continue on his way, there lay his concubine,
fallen in the doorway of the house, with her hands on the threshold.
28 He said to her, “Get up; let’s go.” But there was no answer. Then
the man put her on his donkey and set out for home.

29 When he reached home, he took a knife and cut up his concubine,
limb by limb, into twelve parts and sent them into all the areas of
Israel. 30 Everyone who saw it was saying to one another, “Such a
thing has never been seen or done, not since the day the Israelites
came up out of Egypt. Just imagine! We must do something! So speak
up!”.

And the story of Job in which Satan makes a bet with the godthing that,
if Job suffers horribly, he will turn against his godthing. He doesn't.
So, aside from all kinds of physical suffering, Job's family dies. Oh,
he does get a replacement family. Whoodedo! What does this teach us -
that women and children were property. Job happily accepts family #2.

I'll have to find out where the Job myth came from originally. If it came
from eastern Asia, Job would have gotten his family and possessions back,
and then some, not new ones. They'd still be property, but Job would have
shown that he cared for them.

MikeyX of the squeaky voice.

Resonance: The quality in a sound of being deep, full and reverberating.
That could be a deep voice leading a prayer or shouting a sermon. It
could be a gong hit in an enclosed temple. Such a sound could affect
some people mentally, especially if they feel the vibrations.

What is a simple definition of resonance?
1a : the quality or state of being resonant. b(1) : a vibration of
large amplitude in a mechanical or electrical system caused by a
relatively small periodic stimulus of the same or nearly the same
period as the natural vibration period of the system.

Your statement does not make sense.
I give you a chance to express what resonance means to you.
But so far, I dee no relevence to your resonance.

So you can stay in that 'pitch, tone, frequency'.

No actually. People may label it as fantasy because they are unable
to control matter but that doesn't make it fantasy. if you had ever
read thru declassified CIA files you would find out that the CIA
actually spent 12 years studying Tibetan Buddhist monks that were
able to "manifest" solid objects on a small scale, ergo bottle caps
coins, small pieces of gold, things like that. This study was done
all in the name of searching for ways to make metal seamless.

  However, what nobody can call
hooey/poppycock and be honest is the resonance of the bible.
Absolute truth resonates with the spirit of some men but not all. It
is the bedrock of reality, just like the sky is blue yet you know there
is science behind why the sky is blue, and not green or yellow..yet
there are men that will argue that it is blue because of water alone
but that isn't the case.
For instance, take the story of the parable son.  Was there actually a
prodigal son with a father who gave him his inheritance, who ended up
with the pigs and returned home??  It does not matter!
It does indeed matter! It's prophetic in nature as the lesson can be
applied to all ages and peoples, teaching adolescents the result of
unrighteous living. Parents have to have examples to teach by and
usually it's easier and safer to use someone else's acts of stupidity
and ignorance than to use your own and risk your children losing respect
for you...
What is the resonance of the story though??

The resonance.
What does that mean?

Nevertheless, the bible is a bunch of stories that anyone can

No actually. People may label it as fantasy because they are
unable
to control matter but that doesn't make it fantasy. if you had
ever
read thru declassified CIA files you would find out that the CIA
actually spent 12 years studying Tibetan Buddhist monks that were
able to "manifest" solid objects on a small scale, ergo bottle
caps
coins, small pieces of gold, things like that. This study was
done

   However, what nobody can call

hooey/poppycock and be honest is the resonance of the bible.
Absolute truth resonates with the spirit of some men but not
all. It
is the bedrock of reality, just like the sky is blue yet you know
there

there are men that will argue that it is blue because of water alone

For instance, take the story of the parable son.  Was there
actually a

prodigal son with a father who gave him his inheritance, who
ended up

with the pigs and returned home??  It does not matter!
It does indeed matter! It's prophetic in nature as the lesson
can be
applied to all ages and peoples, teaching adolescents the result of
unrighteous living. Parents have to have examples to teach by and
usually it's easier and safer to use someone else's acts of
stupidity
and ignorance than to use your own and risk your children losing

That must be a metaphor for your guy at the top of the
spiritual road.

So you run a B&B for sex tourists, and your god provides
you with sheep of the sexual orientation of the

Is that legal in Tasmania?

Show us your philosophical argument on resonance, Ted.
I would certainly look forward to it.

The Bamiyan Buddhas were ensconced since whenever in Afghanistan,
including several centuries under Muslim watch. They were either
admired or accepted like any habit by those that lived under their
majestic shadow. Then one day the great work of art was blown up, with
artillery, by marauders who were raised in a joint enterprise by
America and its allies as the ‘sword arm’ of Islam.

The Bamiyan Buddhas were ensconced since whenever in Afghanistan,
including several centuries under Muslim watch. They were either
admired or accepted like any habit by those that lived under their
majestic shadow. Then one day the great work of art was blown up,

America and its allies as the ‘sword arm’ of Islam.

The resonance.
Dude, we told you not to take the brown acid.
Here is an example given by Merriam Webster...
For President Trump, and particularly his evangelical Christian
supporters, few locations have the RESONANCE of the holy but fiercely
contested city of Jerusalem.

Try to learn something instead of remaining seated in your own shit like

I'm still baffled as to what you think your point might be.

The resonance.
What does that mean?

And so it is, the bible is the truth because of that resonance, the
resonance of God Himself and His ways."

The revelation of the Personhood, the identity of God. Proof, if you will.

You appear to be using your own personal definition for "resonance".
This isn't the first word you've done that with, either. As I have

The point is to tag the group and try to annoy - like anti-Semitic,
racist or homophobic etc graffiti where he knows those minorities he
hates will see it.

But that is borderline hate crime so he does it anonymously to the
one remaining group where whom it is societally acceptable while
cowardly hiding behind the anonymity his computer and the net.

You obviously don't know much of resonance, but have only co-opted the word "resonance" for your attempted deceitful writing.

The quality of you resonance is very low. You have a very low Q, Michael.

Not at all, Michael. I didn't claim anything about our relative IQ scores.

Peter Pan knew immediately what I was speaking of. Kudos!

"Q" represents Quality in a resonant circuit.

Dip the plate and peak the grid-that's where you find resonance.

The higher the Q, the narrower the resonant frequency.

Long ago, Heath/Heathkit marketed a Q Multiplier

"To seek your own will is to seek your own glory".
"If God is not first in everything He is not first in anything."
