I am doing very well, sore as all get out. And no more afib, just an
extra beat or two every minute. The doc thinks that will reduce over
time as the cauterized surfaces inside my heart heal but my dad has them
too.

Try _The Vega Sector_ (which is actually two German issues). It's not
the start, but was very "stride hitting".

The (brief) US re-launch read like it was translated from German.
(Plus it started way beyond any characters or plotlines I cared about).

My first _PR_ Ace editions (Nr. 50-59) recently arrived. Ace Nr. 2-100
are on the way. German editions of early editions will soon be ordered.
_PR_ will pretty much occupy my next lustrum of reading. (FWIW
Astrogator 4SJ uses that word in Stardust Editorial Nr. 50.) :0)

Sorry, I have confused you with someone else. Years ago, someone on
here told me a box of Perry Rhodans for sale on ebay that I bought for
90 bucks or so. I lost all of mine in the Great Flood of '89 along with
a couple of thousand other books.
