One of those ways is that although I look at all umratic posts, I get
very fed up with spending a long time scrolling through untrimmed posts
just to find a word or two at the end. I do sometimes give up and go on
to the next one so if you want your BTNs to be noticed and considered,
EDIT YOUR POST! Snip all but the nominated BT and *relevant* quoted
context which makes it clear why the contribution is BT.
Seriously - if your BTN is at the end of a very long, unedited post with
a lot of quoted text which has no bearing on the nomination, it probably
won't be read, let alone considered.
Secondly, because I don't listen to TA any more, I may not read on-topic
posts about TA with complete diligence. If a BTN is made to which I
have not responded within a day or two, you may re-post it with a new
thread title "For the BTM" or similar and I will consider it in the
normal way. Any suggestion of backsliding by the BTM will be met with A
Very Stern Glare.
Thirdly, I wonder if an umrat who is in touch with Paul would let him
know of the instigation of Linda Tame Virtual Trophy for Mere Vulgarity
("The Bottoms"), as Linda may be cheered by the news.
