Dave, Andrw Taylor said a few things about you last year that I thought
were inspiring. You might comment on this if you would...

As Subject, and I'll add our friend David to the list as I am sure he is
watching us.
I met 'David on Travellers Joy', AKA as 'Boater Dave' on recent trip to the
UK. We met up in an Inn on the top of Dartmoor for Sunday lunch and he
brought his dear wife. I had told friends I wanted to see what makes him
tick, especially after seeing his antics on annexcafe and the number of
friends who had blocked him. He was actually very nice, and really a very
'ordinary' man, with perhaps too much spare time on his hands in retirement.
I think he has a sense of humour that no-one understands. He asks questions
for the fun of it to illicit a response. If there is no response, he
questions harder until he drives people insane, lol :>)
There is a thread on this as well, and it was reader friendly imo.

Perhaps to publicize my virtues? ;-)

RonNNN - may I ask a serious question, as you know Annexcafe well and
are pretty logical most of the time.

Why do *YOU* think Jerry recently posted to ask for help on the *UK* U2U
group instead of the principal one based in the USA?

Further to that, why do you think '...winston' - the moderator of the
*US* group - was monitoring the posts on the UK group and actually made
the response to Jerry.

Hi Eagle :-)

Andrew was correct - I WAS watching the group when he made his post!

I've always claimed that I'm one of life's 'good guys' so it was nice to
see Andrew confirming that! ;-)

Did you see *this* by Andrew Taylor which I posted some long while ago
now? It confirms that Peter Foldes was a liar, as many reading SE
already know! (Mike Easter is certainly one of those who know!)

Andrew and I are on good terms and communicate almost daily.

Strangely, even though he is a 'Moderator' on the UK User2User group,
http://www.annexcafe.com/homepage.cfm/annexcafe.uk.general.user2user
he has no idea who currently pays the cost of running the Annexcafe
server to support the newsgroups. Mr Gooden stopped supporting that
server years ago - Ishie took it on, but stopped so doing after her
horrendous house fire. Perhaps somebody on THIS group knows who pays!

I really don't think that you or BD should be reposting AC posts in
here. AC doesn't approve of posters doing that within AC and I think
its wrong to do that, without the writer's permission.

If you really feel a need to discuss something, maybe you could just
post a link.
