When I'm talking about the best ACTUAL RECORDINGS Elvis did in the
1960's

And as do you date them that way when the occasion befits.Otherwise
why do you,for just one example, include Carl Perkins' "Put Your Cat
Clothes On" in your 1957 list instead of 1973 when it was first
released?

I'm not saying you were wrong in doing that---on the contrary you're
right. Just as I was right when every recording entered in the
Unreleased Battle was dated by recording date.

And just as I am right now..

Unissued recordings are in a different category than recordings that are released as contemporary releases just a few years after being recorded.

In either case I don't find Elvis version of "Reconsider Baby" to be in the same league as the Fulson version. The Fulson is an 8 (Excellent) and the Presley is a 6 (good).

Carl Perkins - Honey 'Cause I Love You - Columbia 41825
http://youtu.be/ry93Aebb9Go
This video is blocked here, but this one works:

I have the 45, but did not have it on MP3. It's decent enough to file. I;m surprised at how little people care about his post Sun records. I have a bunch off them listed for sale for very low prices and nobody is ever interested.

Pretty good pop.
I only really ever liked one or two of his records ("The Night Has A
Thousand Eyes" was his best) but still sad to read of his recent
demise

Perhaps THE single most played record of all in the London R&B clubs
