A professional is paid for their work.  You are an amateur.

I like "dilettante."...

What is an example of dilettante?

The definition of a dilettante is a dabbler or a person who cultivates an interest
without really committing or learning anything in depth. Someone who acts as if
he is deeply interested in the arts [GM: HEALTH CARE] but who doesn't really take the time to learn
about the arts [GM:HEALTH CARE] is an example of a dilettante.

USAGE: "John is a DABBLER in nursing..."

You are not the first to identify him as a dabbler.

No, but it does not require an MD to deliver a human baby! Women have been having their own babies for a LONG time! A LONG TIME!

I have degrees in Radiography and in Nuclear Medicine. I am licensed
in California. I am very employable and can work whenever I want.

No, you are NOT a medical professional, or you'd be employable, and
you are not! I can easily be licenced in most other states. I was
licenced by the UCLA Medical Center (very desireable credentials in
the medical field) and have kept my licence active for many years. I
was also trained by Siemens in the instalation of their equipment.

Kuthe likes to think he's a "medical professional" but he has not kept
up with any nursing certifications and admits he loves his "agency"
because they only deal with paper charting, which went by the wayside
years ago. He couldn't figure out how to use a tablet for medical
charting if his life depended on it. That's one reason he can't find
work. That, and he's only interested in babysitting type jobs where he
isn't required to do much other than sit on his ass. Even without his
neurotic ravings on Usenet he could never work in a hospital or clinic
setting because they have standards to maintain and require staff to
keep up with recertification requirements and continued education.
