Auto save creates a straight line when I'm painting with a brush. Maybe you
resolved this but already - and maybe I submitted this but report already - in

check if it still happens with 4.0 because we overhauled autosave there. If

We have fixed so many issues with autosaving, including putting it in a
background thread this 3.3.1 that I consider this bug closed.
