If you could ask one question to one Beatle, what question would that
be and to whom?
I'd say, "Jimmy, I thought you died!"

No different than Goldilocks and The Three Bears......storytelling is
a wonderful outlet. Plenty of stories here at rmb, huh? Some sad,
some funny, some hurt full.

Seeing as there are only two Beatles left to ask, and to avoid Paul
blathering on, I would ask Ringo what he thinks happens to people after
they die.

Where would you be without the other three?

I'd ask this to any one of the four.

good question
I disagree. It's not a very good question at all. I mean, in the
abstract, maybe, it's interesting to consider. But there is no possible
way any of them could give a legitimate, meaningful answer, since it
calls for pure speculation about what their lives would be like in a
hypothetical parallel universe where they never got together. There's no
way in hell any of them could know that. Even if it were possible to
figure it out intellectually, their view would be distorted by their
point of view from inside the life in question. Thus there is nothing
that one could possibly learn from asking that question, except maybe
how clever the Beatle in question is at concocting imaginary scenarios.

Oh, I get it...it's just like the Star Trek episode where the crew
travels back to the 20th century, and Kirk deliberately lets his
girlfriend get run over by a car because Spock told him if she were to
live, the Nazis would win World War II.

There's a very perceptive piece in the latest Word about how the world
would have been different if McCartney had not met Lennon on that
fateful day.

Right, except without the drug-addled McCoy running around screaming
about people trying to kill him. That was the best part of that episode.

Ringo.

Can you introduce me to Bob Dylan?

**

P.S. I had a dream about Paul once, and I was like, can you give Bob
Dylan my number, and he was like, do it yourself, why should I do that
for you?

To John, the question I would ask is, 'Are you high yet?'

Of course, the asking would be preceded by the passing and puffing.
