If one looks at this graph it is clear that the supply of the vaccines are
governing the rate of the vaccination roll out.

Further down the page there is a link to a spreadsheet, from the cumulative
tab we can work the numbers of shots which were planned for the roll out.
Link below

https://www.health.govt.nz/system/files/documents/pages/covid_vaccinations_13_07_2021.xlsx

The figures below are the planned number of vaccine doses from 11 July to 5
December (Weekly)

207386 11 July 2021
207386
173853
312487
312487
278954
278450
293966
293966
293966
533956 19 September 2021.
533956
533956
533956
533956
533956
533956
154741
154741
154741

Now notice how the numbers slowly increase and then jump from 293,966 to
533956 and hold for 7 weeks. Total 3.74 million. Which is a good portion of
the population of the country.

Personally, I'll add a week onto this and say that this is when the ramp
will get steep and I might be called to have the shot. Of course NZ could
get more than planned.

For those of you interested in AEFI, reactions to the vaccine, then plenty
to study here

https://www.medsafe.govt.nz/COVID-19/safety-report-17.asp

I am left with the impression that the Government is certainly putting up
alot of data. Navigating through all the links to find what you are looking
for is the challenge.

Of course - the government have been making this clear right from the
start. We did get a little ahead at one stage as the system was more
efficient than had been anticipated when the plan was set, but we are
now well on track.

The advantage of the path chosen is that we have not jeopardised our
level 1 status as much as some had thought, but have also had time to
select a good vaccine and to benefit from the experience of other
countries, and adapt our response.

house prices and........enough already?

Good attmept to deflect from the subject of the thread - regarding
Covid, and vaccine supply, the government have done very well - indeed
in relation to all decisions related to covid the government has done
very well - and frequently those good decisions have been made in the
face of strident complaints that actions should have been taken a day
earlier, or a day later, or sometimes both at once from different
so-called opposition speakers . . .

Mmmm...however put, best always, surely, to view the government and their parliamentary opponents collectively as the cream of New Zealand and therefore - at a stretch - the outer limits of whatever "thinking" New Zealand politics has to offer. That way lies satisfaction and contentment, gratuitous Gold Card and Winter Fuel allowance an' all. Adopt any other course and you inevitably end up like John Bowes and Tony D. Unknown.

Do keep up, JB - it is now quite a long times since they gave priority
to for example border workers _and their families_. Good epidemilogy
reasons for that of couse, but yes it has resulted in some getting
vaccines earlier than otherwise. Overall the original plan is working
well, but some small adjustments were well considered, well
publicised, and generally welcomed - except by those that choose not
to think . . .

Don't talk shit you fucking imbecile! They haven't done all the border workers yet or for that matter group 2. They're supposedly working on group 3 now! YOU need to get up to date with the real world instead of displaying your fucking stupidity and lack of knowledge of the real world Rich!

If one looks at this graph it is clear that the supply of the vaccines are
governing the rate of the vaccination roll out.
Of course - the government have been making this clear right from the
start. We did get a little ahead at one stage as the system was more
efficient than had been anticipated when the plan was set, but we are
now well on track.
BULLSHIT! The so called plan is a cluster fuck Rich! We have people getting
the vaccine from group 4 while many if not most of group 3 are still waiting!
<further Labour party crap snipped>

Typical Vance hyperbole.

Yes not all DHBs have been as efficient, but you may remember some
priority being given to South Auckland - that would have affected the
roll-out in some opther places, but overall we are keeping well on
track in accordance with the plan - as set out months ago and with

chances are you will have an appointment in early July, although that

Absolute nonsense, you cannot bear to read an opinion that is not based on
"your" hyperbole, can you?
The Stuff article is indeed an opinion; the second link to
health.govt.nz indicates that the opinion is not based on fact - the
facts are that we are meeting a comprehensive plan, and have been for
some time.
No that is your opinion based only on your blind faith in the lies told to you
by your masters.
They are slowly getting there Tony. I just received notification I can get my first shot as soon as I've made an appointment. Sent the e-mail about an hour ago because apparently the phonelines are running red hot :)
btw I'm not holding my breath...
Well done John, but you are mistaken if you believe that if you book
today you will be able to get the first shot today or even tomorrow -
chances are you will have an appointment in early July, although that
may depend on where you live. You will then need to attend at the time
and place you are given . . .
Stop talking utter shit you fucking moron! I've got a better idea of what is happening and unlike the cringeworthy Labour shill which is you, I have no great expectations of getting my first shot before Christmas!
As to me getting an appointment in early July? Which fucking year shit for brains ? :)
Yes, early August. Good on you for seeking the vaccination John -
there are some nutters who say they will refuse . . .

If one looks at this graph it is clear that the supply of the vaccines
are
governing the rate of the vaccination roll out.
Of course - the government have been making this clear right from the
start. We did get a little ahead at one stage as the system was more
efficient than had been anticipated when the plan was set, but we are
now well on track.
BULLSHIT! The so called plan is a cluster fuck Rich! We have people
getting
the vaccine from group 4 while many if not most of group 3 are still
waiting!
<further Labour party crap snipped>
Do keep up, JB - it is now quite a long times since they gave priority
to for example border workers _and their families_. Good epidemilogy
reasons for that of couse, but yes it has resulted in some getting
vaccines earlier than otherwise. Overall the original plan is working
well, but some small adjustments were well considered, well
publicised, and generally welcomed - except by those that choose not
to think . . .
Here is someone who thinks

And unlike you tells the truth.
Typical Vance hyperbole.
Yes not all DHBs have been as efficient, but you may remember some
priority being given to South Auckland - that would have affected the
roll-out in some opther places, but overall we are keeping well on

Oh and I'll be bloody surprised if I get it by December considering how the vaccine is trickling into the country and the way the government finds different groups to give precedence to!

Rich shows his dark side. When I posted "The Sentinels" which gave an
excellent reason not to have the vaccine (because it makes the virus
more virulent), Rich had no reply. Now he calls me a nutter.
Rich is either a lower form of life or a paid Labour shill. I'm
pretty sure it's the latter. But how cheaply are you bought, Rich?
He doesn't get paid with money. He gets a postcard from Jacinda and Helen every
so often. They get worn out very quickly though.

Received the call about 30 mins ago - both Group 3 appointments booked for 6 and 27 August at a convenient local vaccination centre. Looks like the less fuss you make, the earlier you receive the invitation. No worries, eh?

And unlike you tells the truth.
Typical Vance hyperbole.
Yes not all DHBs have been as efficient, but you may remember some
priority being given to South Auckland - that would have affected the
roll-out in some opther places, but overall we are keeping well on
track in accordance with the plan - as set out months ago and with
https://www.health.govt.nz/our-work/diseases-and-conditions/covid-19-novel-coronavirus/covid-19-data-and-statistics/covid-19-vaccine-data#model
I am relying on the facts stated in
https://www.health.govt.nz/our-work/diseases-and-conditions/covid-19-novel-coronavirus/covid-19-data-and-statistics/covid-19-vaccine-data#model
What of the given statistics are you claiming is a lie, Tony?
The government planned a shit rollout and have achieved that plan. Well done!

<further Labour party crap snipped>
Do keep up, JB - it is now quite a long times since they gave priority
to for example border workers _and their families_. Good epidemilogy
reasons for that of couse, but yes it has resulted in some getting
vaccines earlier than otherwise. Overall the original plan is working
well, but some small adjustments were well considered, well
publicised, and generally welcomed - except by those that choose not
to think . . .

Then there's this Rich. Seems not everyone is as stupid as you and believing the bullshit coming out of the Cindy and Chippy show every Tuesday.

It's not hyperbole. It's simple fact.

New Zealand is flat last in the OECD vaccination rates because our government has been fucking useless at locking in supply.

If Delta variant COVID got into the community here, which is quite possible given the incredible government incompetence (border workers still not fully vaccinated, international mariners allowed through without testing or quarantine) the largely unvaccinated population is at its mercy. Australia is paying the price right now.
