Has anything happened?

One way and another, what with the ceaseless titivating of the weekly
shopping list, the calls and emails from friends and relations, the best
beloved having a small stroke, the struggle to rescue the garden from
flood, drought and lack of access to garden centres, etc, etc, I seem to
have lost the 7.15 habit. I heard a bit of the week before last's
omnibus but couldn't concentrate.

Hhas anything actually happened in Ambridge that I should know about?

Who cares when there's so much happening away from Ambridge (for you, at
least). I hope the smallness of the stroke means there is no permanent
damage.

I'm sorry to hear about the BB's stroke, Kate. How is he? And how are
you doing?

I can't help with events in Ambridge, but you might find a 7.02 habit
more helpful than a 7.15 one in that regard. HTH.

ha ha. So true

The BB is back, brain firing on all cylinders (diagnosed a very arcane
problem in the hot water system, much to the admiration of the heating
engineer who confirmed it and will mend it next week. That was
yesterday's excitement) but a bit wobbly on the pins. He is looking
forward to his 93rd birthday in August with every expectation that he
will make it, even if it's still just us eating the cake.

So nothing has happened? Kirsty hasn't unmasked Phil? The Bull hasn't
gone bust? Hilda hasn't actually killed Piggoi yet?

Susan has a presenter job on Radio Ambridge and invited Helen to be
interviewed by phone on her cheese. Helen is worried people will tweet
about the case.

Tom and Natash are doing well, lots of people needing deliveries, and
offered Eddie a delivery job with the Umbrella Fresh Team. Eddie
negotiated for the website to sell his cider too.

I am a bit hazy on last week's events.

I have received spirit messages that suggest Kirsty will be telling us

I'll have you know I'm as jober as a sudge.

What happens is that e evry so often Google serves me news items about
the Archers, and often they are What's On for several weeks in advance
(presumably as the Beeb releases them). I often don't take full notice
of them, so I'm a little vague about the details.

Bridge farm is awash with milk, and Helen is struggling to find bottles,
so that they can sell it. They also have a cheese mountain which she's
having problems shifting.

Tom is aiming to take over the world with his home delivery service. He
hasn't noticed that Natasha is struggling to cope with it all.

relations, the best beloved having a small stroke, the struggle to
rescue the garden from flood, drought and lack of access to garden
centres, etc, etc, I seem to have lost the 7.15 habit. I heard a bit
of the week before last's omnibus but couldn't concentrate.
Hhas anything actually happened in Ambridge that I should know about?
I'm sorry to hear about the BB's stroke, Kate.  How is he?  And how
are you doing?
I can't help with events in Ambridge, but you might find a 7.02 habit
more helpful than a 7.15 one in that regard.  HTH.
I don't know, the ritual "Oh bugger, missed it again" can be quite
cathartic.
ha ha.
I'm glad to hear your BB is doing well and I hope his pins get steadier
before too long.

So nothing has happened? Kirsty hasn't unmasked Phil? The Bull hasn't
gone bust? Hilda hasn't actually killed Piggoi yet?
Bridge farm is awash with milk, and Helen is struggling to find bottles,
so that they can sell it. They also have a cheese mountain which she's
having problems shifting.
Tom is aiming to take over the world with his home delivery service. He
hasn't noticed that Natasha is struggling to cope with it all.
I still think there’s a big hole waiting to swallow those two up.
Sincerely Chris
Oh come on big hole.... we have waited long enough.
It sounds as if they're about to fall, headfirst, into a mental health
storyline hole.
That might be appropriate now as lockdown has apparently caused more
problems inthat area, except they have done so much lately on mental
health and we are surely due a bit more cheer?
‘Cheer’ is definitely ‘extra’ luv.

One way and another, what with the ceaseless titivating of the weekly
shopping list, the calls and emails from friends and relations, the best

have lost the 7.15 habit. I heard a bit of the week before last's

Pleased to hear it was only a mini stroke. I recall my father being
somewhat annoyed by those

Not a lot, unless you care that Tony, having been nagged by Pat, shaved off
his beard and then attempted to cut his own hair (she insisted it go) and
made a pig's ear out of it and had to be shawn with clippers. A light-bulb
moment for Johnny who has now close-clipped his own head and stopped
wearing a hat.

I think we may be getting revamped versions of stories already in the
pipeline. They're making us wait for Kirsty's story though.

BBC Archers website lets you listen to past episodes and has the
facility to read a synopsis which is well hidden. To get it you have to
click on the see more option. You have to have a BBC account, but its
free and iirc easy to set up.

Sorry to hear about the BB's stroke. Hope the effects are not too
serious, though you do say small.
