Post by Steve M. GalbraithPost by BudPost by clavigerOswald was a self actualizing Communist hitman. He imitated his hero
Fidel Castro. LHO was in competition with Che and made the ultimate
Communist hit on the US political system. He was a lone wolf amateur
sniper who took pressure off Castro and the Cuban Revolution for decades
to come.
LHO achieved his goal to change history and deeply wounded the country and
government he hated most in the world, as he blithely went about his
efforts to decapitate the political system that he so despised. He
succeeded in out maneuvering all US security efforts to protect the
President. Partly due to a lack of sophistication and experience the US
institutions he overcame were no match for his simple plan lacking any
complicated stealth to fire a cheap milsurp rifle at the passing
motorcade. In fact so easy even a wannabe low tech sniper could do it, and
he did.
The term today is "self-radicalized". Looking at Oswald`s reading
material in New Orleans it was almost all political or heroic fiction...

But fear not buffs, nobody can make you utilize information in a
rational manner.
To the Oswald defenders this is proof he *wasn't* a Marxist; no, it's
proof that he was pretending to be one.
Some of the conspiracy advocates - the writer Carmine Savastano, who used
to post here - says Oswald wasn't a Marxist since he never attended any
Marxist meetings or met with other Marxists. He believes it was a

understanding of Marxism. So: no interactions with Marxist, no

Sure, Oswwald did not understand but that does not make him a fake
believer. He was not playing out "I Led Three Lives."

Slow down, boy.
One does not have to believe in Hitler to be a Fascist, but it helps.
They are different variants. And not all Fascists in Italy admired
Hitler. Some kids like the shooter can be fascinated with Hitler without
being card carrying Fascists.

Nazi Party meetings. We'd all say, "This person is a Nazi, a fascist."
Not a necessary proof. We would call the closet Nazis.
BTW, just being anti-Jewish or believing that the Jews run the world is
not enough to qualify to be a Nazi. Many Arabs think the same way. Some
were ALLIES of the Nazis, but not Fascists themselves.

have a simplistic understanding of the concepts behind Marxism.
You get no point for stating the obvious.
Post by Steve M. GalbraithIn any case, he certainly detested the America political and economic
systems. Let's set aside the "Was he a Marxist?" question an ask, "Did he
hate the US?" The answer to that is an emphatic yes.
He said in the interview that he was a Marxist.
