The stolen generations

The report on the stolen generations highlighted the disaster of people
living in aboriginal communities in remote and extremely remote
locations. Many recommendations were made, most of which are useless.
The report was created by utter fuckwits about a small group of
Australians who have chosen to live in poverty forever.

The report is here -
https://www.humanrights.gov.au/our-work/aboriginal-and-torres-strait-islander-social-justice/publications/bringing-them-home-stolen

Here is a recent ABC radio report by the cretins in the ABC who have NFI
about the problem, and even less of an idea about dealing with it -
http://www.abc.net.au/radionational/programs/earshot/a-wicked-problem/9532146.
It runs for about 25 minutes. Listen and weep.

The report was dated 1997, you ignorant buffoon. The situation since
then has become worse for people living in aboriginal communities, with
no change in sight.

Who are those people you claim are spending time looking at the
situation? I would tell you, but that would be casting putting pearls
before swine.

What I actually said was that the 1997 report was bullshit, the cited
report was bullshit, and that the situation of Australians living in
remote and extremely remote communities was bad and is getting worse.

You, however, call that BS and claim I can't back it up. The 1997
report and the ABC report back it up, you stupid clown.

Did you actually both to listen to the ABC report? Obviously, not.

Let's hear it from Ronald Wilson himself:
"SIR RONALD WILSON: The word 'stolen' has come into the language to describe people who were removed by compulsion, duress, or undue influence. Now, that covers a range of circumstances from simple surrender with the consent of the parents to forcible arbitrary taking."

So he allowed a report to be released which allowed the word "stolen" to be used in the context of "surrender with the consent of the parents".

"....critics come down to the actual personal stories and say, 'I didn't cross-examine them. I didn't look for corroboration.' Those were not the important points."

So he allowed a report to be released that repeated uncorroborated stories, many of which were known to be non-factual. But apparently fact was "not the important points".

Who were some of these "stolen" children?
Lois O'Donohue claimed to be one of them. However even at the time of the report it was already known that her parents took her to be educated by the Baptist Mission at Oodnadatta, education that helped her escape the cycle of poverty that pertained in remote communities, as her parents intended.
Good on the Baptists.
And yet O'Donohue was allowed to claim she had been "stolen":

That's now ancient history, and many of these people have died.

The current situation is that the language of the stolen children has
been adopted by aborigines and applied to any situation where, for
whatever reason, aboriginal children are removed from their families.
It is clear that the removal of children is a feature of distressed
families in poverty, and there are far too many aboriginal families in
that situation. If anything, there are aboriginal children not being
removed from families.

All of which detracts from the fundamental issues of what needs to be
done to deal with the problem of poverty in aboriginal communities.
Repeating the nonsense of "stolen generations" and "aboriginal deaths in
custody" and aboriginals in youth detention or jail merely deflects
attention from the key issues.

spew some vindictive shit debasing people who actually spent time looking
at the situation.
The report was dated 1997, you ignorant buffoon. The situation since then
has become worse for people living in aboriginal communities,
What is the evidence that its getting worse ?
with no change in sight.
Unsurprising. We gave up on forcing them out of those
cess pits of humanity because that didn’t work either.
Who are those people you claim are spending time looking at the situation?
I would tell you, but that would be casting putting pearls before swine.

9/10ths of the aboriginal population of Australia have moved out into
the mainstream. No-one forced them out. The remaining 1/10th needn't
be forced out, either. Those aboriginal communities can make their own
decisions.

Pity about Wadeye and Palm Island alone.

They've been doing that for decades now and look what that has produced.

Give us a précis of the problem you see in the report,
They were too stupid to even be able to work out that while
ever those remote abo communitys have sweet fuck all in the
way of real employment opportunitys for anything but a tiny
handful of individuals to run the checkout in the store and do
a bit of the stuff the local council does everywhere else, that
they will always be an utter cess pit of humanity that will see
the rest of the 'community' with nothing whatever to do except
get drunk or drugged and piss their 'lives' against the wall and
that in the circumstances its hardly surprising that so many
of their kids decided to kill themselves.

There is way to solve the problems. We've tried everything
from forcibly removing them all to other cess pits like
Wadeye and Palm Island where not only is there precisely
the same fundamental problems, but we see endless tribal
violence added to the other fundamental problems.

Even the most gung ho approach that Brough attempted
and what Forrest attempted didn’t fucking work.

Yep the Queensland Gov certainly stuffed up Palm Island didn't they. Not
one of the great examples of intervention, Same applies to Wadeye but
that time it was the Church

Everyone else who tried that approach did too. It wasn’t just the
Qld govt, that happened in the NT and in WA and Tasmania too.

Wasn’t so common in NSW, Vic and SA.

No it was not. They were certainly the ones that established
the mission there and moved it, but it wasn’t the church that
forcibly moved most of those that ended up there, there and
produced a hell of a tribal mix that still sees the stupid bastards
ripping each others throats out every chance they get to do that.

Yes. That's why they appropriated the word "gay" as a form of denial. It's a horrible thing to suffer from.

Because the ratio is higher than other stations which may explain ABC bias.

Even Shakespeare knew the cause....

"Well, this is what happens when men let
themselves be ruled by women. ......" (RIII Act1)

But the problem is not new:

Until the "stolen" generation is recognized as

It will continue even if that does happen because the
problem is that those bludgers prefer to get pissed
and blotto on drugs instead of doing anything else.

Even when there was plenty of employment in places
like Groote Eylant etc too.

Its not unique to the boongs either. The dregs of the
hippys are just as bad, we just don't wring our hands
about what they get up to.

We've just seen some of the locals arrested for getting
too carried away with incest etc. They got sprung when
one of the girls was heard at school saying that her
sister was pregnant and they couldn't work out which
of her brothers was the father. Massive stink in the
national media a month or two ago.
