So Why Does The Son Of The Living God Care For The Plight Of The Palestinians in Jerusalem?

Here is why:
"When the angels said: “O Mary! God gives you the good news of a Word from Him, whose name is the Messiah, Jesus son of Mary, who is illustrious in this world and the hereafter, and who is one of those brought near [to God]. (3.45)"

Does God Show Favoritism.

NO.

Does Jesus go to Friday Prayers at the Mosques

Absolutely.

Some want to pretend that there is NO such thing as Palestinians???
Palestine was the name given to the region by the Romans.

Until the state of Palestine was created nobody could rightfully say they were Palestinian.

http://www.dailywire.com/news/16784/levin-no-such-thing-palestinian-robert-kraychik

There’s no such thing as a Palestinian,” said Mark Levin on Monday, while broadcasting from Israel. “They’re Arabs. I’m sorry, they can call themselves Palestinians, or Palestinian Arabs - I don’t even know what that means.”

Levin rejected the narrative in which “Palestinians” are framed as a distinct group of people constituting a nation; a narrative upon which the “Palestinian” claim to self-determination and independence via statehood is predicated.

Levin noted that contemporary Arab states are not grounded in preexisting national identities, but on borders drawn by the victorious European powers following the collapse of the Ottoman Empire after the First World War.

European states, conversely, typically enclose territories populated by groups that compose unique nations. European nations have histories, languages, cultures, religious traditions, and other features of nationhood that are distinguishable between themselves, unlike contemporary Arab states.

The meaningful social fault lines of the Middle East and North Africa are typically not congruent with the region’s states, with few exceptions such as Iran. Various minority nations across the region do not have independence via statehood, such as Kurds, Copts, Bahais, or Assyrians. CNN, MSNBC, The New York Times, and The Washington Post do not agitate for the independent statehood of any of the aforementioned groups.

http://www.targetofopportunity.com/palestinian_truth.htm
United Nations Resolution 181 recommended a partition of the territory from the British Mandate for Palestine into two states - one for Jews and one for Palestinian Arabs. But the rejection of partition by the Arabs left in place as the legally operative Mandate for Palestine, the 1924 Anglo-American Convention, and Article 80 of the United Nations Charter. All of the Arab countries objected to the creation of the Jewish state and fought a war against its creation. This was Israel's War of Independence in 1948. Despite their superior numbers, the Arab countries lost the war and the Palestinian state never materialized because of this loss. In the war that was waged, the territory allotted to be the Palestinian state by the UN partition resolution was divided between Israel and Jordan. The "Palestinian Arabs" were rejected by every single Arab country, with the exception of the small percentage that ended up in refugee camps in Jordan where they remain to this day.

https://townhall.com/columnists/michaelbrown/2011/06/03/more-facts-on-the-myth-of-the-palestinian-people-n1107735
In the oft-quoted words of the celebrated Arab-American historian and Princeton University professor, Philip Hitti, testifying before the Anglo-American Committee in 1946, “There is no such thing as ‘Palestine’ in history, absolutely not.” And so, if there was no “Palestine” in the pre-1948 Arab consciousness, there was no Palestinian people. The only people living in Palestine who traced their pedigree back to ancient, biblical times and who awaited the restoration of their ancient homeland were the Jewish people.

Hogwash.

You do not have to have a nation-state to have an identity.

Might as well say that there are no Kurds because there is no Kurdistan.
Or that gypsies do not actually exist.
Or that until Israel was founded, there were no Jews.

Any group of people who feel the shared bonds of history, culture,
religion, language or ethnicity may define themselves as distinct.
Quibbling over the label or name applied to them -- or that they apply
to themselves -- is pointless, as no-one can sit in judgment over
whether they exist or not: such allegiance and identity is entirely
self-defined.

unintentionally took out of context and misinterpreted.

He followed up that one line with references and quotes in support of
the "argument" that there is no such thing as a Palestinian. Never mind
the whole issue of debating whether they do or do not have any rights
over Israeli territory -- this line of attack denies these people their
very existence. And once you do that, why, then there is no more need
for any further debates because if they do not exist, they cannot make
claims. It is pernicious.

Arguably, the experience of living in refugee camps in Gaza, Lebanon
and (Trans)Jordan has made "Palestinians" out of what used to be
Muslim and Christian Transjordanian Arabs. Other than the native
tribes, their were no "Americans" before the colonization of the Eastern
Seaboard of North America, and those who were later to become Canadians
and are, today, at least fellow "North Americans" in a geographic sense,
were not included, except as later immigrants e.g. US Citizens of
French-Canadian extraction in New England and Louisiana.

BTW, Philistine=/Phoenician, necessarily. The "Sea People" who
caused the Egyptians so much trouble were probably the Philistine's
ancestors, while the Phoenicians were pre-invasion* Canaanites.

*Assuming there is any truth to the idea that the Hebrews
waltzed in and conquered, as in the babble, which I highly doubt.
Competing indigenous tribes, most likely, for values of indigenous
which equal "our ancestors got here from somewhere else before
yours did."

Thanks for explaining, Kevrob, and for pointing out the
American/Palestinian analogy. It makes sense, but it also summarized
Cloud's argument and dumbs it down enough for me to understand. (Correct me
if I'm wrong, Cloud.)

Is it possible that the Sea People were survivors from the Santorini volcano
who escaped in time? I've read this as a possibility. Would it be the right time period? I've also read about Santorini being part of the background of
the Egyptian plagues story. The latter seems a better possibility. Egypt could easily have been hit by a lot of ash which could have wrecked crops and made
people ill. And if any crops survived, starving locusts would have been right
there to scarf them up.

whole issue of debating whether they do or do not have any rights over
Israeli territory -- this line of attack denies these people their very
existence. And once you do that, why, then there is no more need for any
further debates because if they do not exist, they cannot make
claims. It is pernicious.
I'll take your word for it. The entire argument was so verbose and involved
that I knew I wouldn't be smart enough to follow it.
Yeah, you still believe the answer is W/2. Heeheehee.

Some want to pretend that there is NO such thing as
Palestinians???
Palestine was the name given to the region by the Romans.
Until the state of Palestine was created nobody could rightfully say
they were Palestinian.
Quibbling over the label or name applied to them -- or that they apply to
themselves -- is pointless, as no-one can sit in judgment over whether
they exist or not: such allegiance and identity is entirely self-defined.
All true, but you're responding to one line of Cloud's argument that you
unintentionally took out of context and misinterpreted.

Palestine was the name given to the region by the Romans.
No. It's an adaptation of the older name Phoenicia. According to the old
testment, phoenicians occupied the land before the hebrews arrived. The hebrews
arrived with a deed to the land written by their god and then attempted an
eviction with limitted success. Phoenicians continued along the coast according
to the old testment.
Until the state of Palestine was created nobody could rightfully say they were Palestinian.
No Kurdistan, therefore no Kurds. No Basquestan, therefore no Basque. No state

There’s no such thing as a Palestinian,” said Mark Levin on Monday, while
That's true, I guess. After all their old name was Israelites or Hebrews. Then
they were called Samarians. They are descendants of the northern kingdom of
Israel, while Jews are descendants of the southern kingdom of Judah. Jews aren't
Samarians; Samarians aren't Jews; but Jews and Samarians together are Israel.

The only real difference is Jews used their exile time to write down the torah,
but Samarians don't seem to have done so.

So this is a modern continuation of the old conflict described in the books of
Kings and Chronicles.

Then Mark is an idiot because the word is easily translated, and its history is
well known.

The borders of Phoenicia, Judea, Gallilee, Samaria, and the rest predate the

Irrelevant.

They are now known as Palestinians. They exist. Most of them are Muslim, but there are quite a few Christians. The history became irrelevant once the world acknowledged them as Palestinians.

It's silly to resist this.

If I had to guess why your imaginary God treats Palestinians so badly it would be because they are idiots who think that killing innocent people because they aren't Muslims makes them the definition of evil.
