That would be my advice for Victoria mayor Lisa Helps.

Victoria to remove John A. MacDonald statue from outside city hall

Canada news 5 hours ago

Victoria Mayor Lisa Helps announced Wednesday that the city will remove the statue of Canada's first prime minister later this month. "Indigenous people do not need to walk past this painful reminder of colonial violence each time they enter the doors of their municipal government," she said.

I wonder what may be more painful: the event that might or might not happen 150 years ago, remember it is all perception we have about those, or the real fact of having to share space with the village idiot like that Helps woman.

But, well this is BC, the land of Dhus, Gordos and Karens.

Why don't Victorians leave, and give the land back to the natives instead o
paving it silly with condo's & strip malls? Just more brain-dead 'progressive'
posturing.
