Just a personal curiosity.

Any possibility one day our beloved emulator will
run in a smartphone OS, like IOS or Android?

Peppe.

Many cell phones use ARM processors, so should be able to now.

Oh, there was one guy who loaded up a bunch of Network Attached Drives
with various Atom and Arm processors with Hercules, but no operating
system.

Nice, but I'm mostly Android.

So, it is possible to run MVS3.8j under IOS, at least.

Given than iPhone X (beside the price) has a really
performing CPU, in the range of a modern PC, I guess
I may expect nice performance, isn't?

The idea to connect the smartphone to a LAN, through
WIFI, sit down in front an emulator (possibly in the
same phone) and connect to OS/VS2 TSO is actually
appealing.

And modern smartphone may have SSD disks in the
range of 128Gb, the storage of a small shop of the ninety, isn't?

Thanks for the infos, appreciated, now I'll dig by
myself, time allowing.
