Go on, somebody put me out of my misery ... Birthday of Peter Johnson ->
sweet sherry -> Bulls - I don't get it, even with the hint (the only
place I can see putting an apostrophe in might be in "Bulls").

You cannot simply assume someone is honest just because they are not an MP.

Erme, well, I not sure I follow it entirely but I don't think Peter Johnson
is relevant (sorry Peter, if you are lurking).

Peggy asked for a sweet sherry in the Bull the other day with Brian so I
assume the last comment means "I hear The Bull has run out of sweet
sherry".

Other than that, Btms seems to be talking to herself but that's allowed.

Lurking from where?

The site of his father's helicopter crash in 1979 or wherever the
symphony orchestra is performing tonight?

Doh. I pondered the name, decided I'd no idea who it was so sought to
cushion any perceived rudeness with an apology. Had Mrs Cardboard not
remarried I might have remembered :(

Don't worry about it. I only made the point since I was feeling peeved
because it looked as if yet another Plusnet recommendation bonus was
going to pass me by. But now it turns out that Ally can't sign up as a
new customer the tension is receding.

Ah, got it - the second link, anyway. It was the "sweet sherry"
following the birthday announcement that threw me!
