So, I believe I understand why Christianity is, in reality, polytheistic and the RCC in particular has _lots_ of demi-gods to pray too. It is. of course, nothing to do with the Bible, and precious little to do with Christ. Rather it's all about human nature.

Catholic Saints fulfil the same need as do Hindu minor deities or, in our modern secular society, celebrities.

So I suggest you to forgo the communal prayers and keep praying in the privacy of your home.
