On E-Bay, there are two McIntosh laserdisc players. The asking price
is over $700.00. Since it is based on the CLD-97, those sometimes go
for just over $200.00. Why such a high price for the
McIntosh? Do any of you out there have a McIntosh? I have the
Pioneer CLD-99 and play it on a analog TV. I get smearing on some
LDs, I was just wondering if the McIntosh did this, when the set Noise
Reduction is turned on. For the asking price, it seems that this was
the grand daddy of laserdisc players, yet many say it was the Pioneer
CLD-97. Should I wait and get a CLD-97 at a more reasonable price?
Any info would help. Thank you.
