[mnemosyne-proj-users] How to get Android device to re-sync ?

Set up server on PC. Downloaded and installed the Android app. Set up username/password/server address/port etc. and synced. Everything fine. However, when I edit a card on the PC there is nowhere on the Android device that I can tell it to re-sync with the PC server (which is running) so as to see that latest version of the card.

Uh oh, stumbled on the hidden solution myself. On both my Android devices there is a Mnemosyne hamburger menu (the hamburger menu is the three horizontal lines you see at the top of many Android screens, either on the far left or the far right) but it is hidden on the Mnemosyne screen. All that appear on the screen are the question and answer windows. However, if one swipes down from the top of the screen to call up the Android device settings the Mnemosyne hamburger miraculously appears with, among its options, a Sync item. This screen display is confusing and needs correcting.

Hi,

In order to get maximum space for your cards and less visual clutter, Mnemosyne is a full screen app. Just like all other fullscreen android apps, swiping down reveals the menu.

The first time you use any fullscreen Android app, the Android OS should give you a tutorial on how to bring up the menu.

Cheers,

Peter
