I don't think that all of these folks commit these acts of violence so their names will be famous. I think that most of them are so consumed with hate of others, and maybe themselves, that they get it into their heads that killing will end their frustrations and anger. Thinking about making headlines is not the primary motivation. They are in their own little worlds.
