China has moved 150,000 troops to the notoriously secretive state, while
Russian president Vladimir Putin has also reportedly relocated troops to its
border with the country.

Russian military spokesman Alexander Gordeyev refused to say why troops and
equipment had been moved but said exercises had recently ended in the
TransBaikal region of Siberia.

Moscow’s deputy foreign minister Sergei Ryabkov said: “Unfortunately, we
have to admit that the risk of a serious conflict in this region has
substantially increased.”

I can't see China allowing North Korea to go too far.

The US and China will sort out North Korea. The US and the Chinese will
black out North Korea comms and between them will hack North Korean
missile bases so that North Korea can’t launch its missiles, or it
missiles will be directed into the pacific ocean.

South Korea and the US will fight a defensive and diversionary war.
South Korean’s army will repel any North Korean forces with US air
support. While North Korean forces engage with South Korean and US
forces, the Chinese army will invade from the north and capture Pyongyang.

The only fly in the ointment is the old artillery North Korea has
cannot be hacked and will momentarily shell Seoul so there will be some
collateral damage, of people, buildings and such.

When the Chinese have installed their new leader and got comms with all
of North Korean’s army units, South Korean and US forces back down and
leaves North Korea.

The Russians are waiting in the background in case Trump double crosses
the Chinese and keeps the US and South Korean troops in North Korea.
Putin will send in Russian Forces into North Korea in alliance with the
Chinese. Not to worry the coming South East Asian war will never turn
nuclear, all the super power leaders are not that mad.

You are assuming that nuclear warheads will be delivered by ICBM. Their
missile technology is nowhere near that good. It is far more likely to
be delivered by a decrepit down at heal Liberian cargo freighter and as
a messy sea water groundburst on the West coast - probably San Diego.

South Koreas capital is worryingly close to the DMZ. If you want any
Samsung kit now might be a good time to buy it. Nuclear airbursts will
mess up the semiconductor industry fab lines for years to come.

Closer to destroyed totally perhaps even occupied for a while.

The only chance if war breaks out there is if Russia, China and America
agree to use their entire arsenal of cruise missiles against North Korea
in a single coordinated strike. Even then there may be hardened pockets
of resistance capable of launching NBC warhead missiles at medium range
targets. It will severely test Patriot missile defences.

Both Kim and Trump (and some of Trump's staff) are man-children, but I
really don't believe one calling the other "fat" or whatever is going to
be sufficient provocation for them to start lobbing nuclear bombs about.

At the moment it is just a pissing content to drum up home support.

But if they really were to start acting out Dr Strangelove, at the first
hint, North Korea will be taken out by the rest of the world. Whether
that just means killing Kim or flattening the country, I really do not
know - but that is what is going to happen.

A lot of North Koreans are going to end up dead and it is a heart
breaking scenario, but unless the people can be turned against their
leader, their religion, perhaps by showing them how the rest of the
world really is and how people really live, that is what is going to
happen.

What Kim wants is his people to obey.
By having nuclear weapons it his his way of telling the world that his country 's affairs are theirs alone.
