I firmly believe you are presenting an accurate representation of

I take it you've not yet seen the movie. If you had, you would
know what it meant.
In its whole, the film, and album, is about a man who is mentally
detached from society. It explores how this detachment came about.
The video is for "Another Brick in the Wall Part Two" (arguably
the most famous song of the whole album) in which we see how the main
character blames his childhood teacher for helping put more bricks
into the wall that separates him from society.
While it helps to explain the character's detachment, the song
is more about conformity that you might first think. Note that there
is no first person singular pronoun. At no point is "I" mentioned. An
interesting, IMO, aspect of the song.
I would love to ask Roger what he means, exactly, with the line,
"We don't need no education." Is he using a double negative to state
we do need education? He may mean we don't need a lack of education.
It's equally possible the double negative acts as rhetorical
litotes, intending to emphasize the character's feeling that
education, especially abusive education, is not needed.
If he's ever explained it, I'm not aware of it. And since we
don't travel in the same social circles, the chances of my being able
to ask him are nearly zero.
