Reynold (sometimes Reginald) Bray of Steane, Northants., died in 1583, leaving five (some sources say six) daughters and co-heiresses. One, Temperance, married Sir Thomas Crewe of Nantwich. But who were the others? Any help or leads appreciated.

Baker leaves a source identifier on the five daughters of Reginald Bray on pg. 384 of Vol 1 of his book. pg. 385 has a pedigree.

"Esc. 26 Eliz. n. 119."

That's an IPM. Unfortunately the ipms from that period have not been published - you have to go to Kew and look at the original documents.

This one's modern reference is C 142/204/119

Daryl Lundy's "The Peerage" only lists Temperance, wife of Sir Thomas Crewe, as his daughter with his wife, the Hon. Anne Vaux.

There's a pedigree chart on the following page which has
Mary, aged 14 wife of Sir William Sandys of Fladbury, Worcs
Anne, aged 10 wife of John Sotherston
Alice, aged 6 wife of Nicholas Eveleigh and Ellis Hele
Margery, age 2 wife of Francis Ingoldsby of Boughton
Temperance, aged 3 wife of Sir Thomas Carew
