Hi,

Can any body suggest some good books /reference on Side Channel Attacks

(Timing attacks in specific)

I need to focus on cache timing attacks (specifically against the
crytography
algorithms that use SBox , like AES etc) I have read the D J B;s paper
and wanted to focus on the same direction.

Any useful books/articles suggestions are welcome

The Wikipedia article [1] links to a white paper [3] that introduces the
technical background of side channel attacks. I haven't read it myself,
but you might find it interesting.

Regarding timing attacks in special there are a few links to external
sources in the corresponding article [2]. They deal with the cache miss
attack you mentioned, but not specifically against ciphers using
S-boxes.

I hope this helps.

Regards.

[This is a re-post, as originally posted this message lacked the references,
which seem to have been truncated by mail or news software. Apologies for
