Hi All
jumping distros again.
Having problems installing on ubuntu8,04.
The .deb is i386 and I'm using a AMD Dual Core Athlon 64 bit.
I've used the loki installer in the past on mandriva with no problems
at all.
But on this it does not load anything on to the gnome apps menu
pulldown.
And loading as root wont let it load in my home directory.
I know I'm not the only person using ubuntu8.04 on a 64 bit amd
machine.. whats the work around ?

TIA

I have the trial 7.01 .deb download on my AMD 64 bit machine. It works
fine and the menus are there in the Gnome menu.
I am running the 64 bit Ubuntu 8.04 on this machine.

Hello,

I have just recently re-installed my system and tried to install
CrossOver Games which installs fine however upon trying to upgrade from
the Demo to the full fledged product it gives me several errors to the
effect of unable to create temporary unlock bottle. Is there a log which
i can pull this error out of to post?

Hi Andrew,

That sounds quite alarming; it would be better if you could
post a ticket.

I would make a guess that you may be running CrossOver Games
directly from the disk image, instead of having dragged + dropped
it to your applications folder. Either that, or you don't have
admin privileges to update your copy.

But a ticket is more certain to get a fast answer.

Cheers,

Jeremy
