I know from bitter personal experience - some months ago I received a
similar communication from someone posing as the Earl of Wigan, who promised
me all sorts of patronage and advancement if I contributed to his favourite
charity (the Earl of Wigan Benevolent fund, if I recall correctly) but I
heard nothing further from him, even after sending him two One Pound coins
sellotaped to a business card.

The next time I'm in Wigan I intend to confront the rogue. Meanwhile, learn
from my mistake and lock away your chequebook.

understand that he's been to Lithuania and even attended the founding
Congress of the "Lithuanian Royal Union of Nobility" in the 1990's where
they elected him to the Senate of their association. I don't know if he's
still on their membership rolls. His claim to the throne is one of the
silliest you might see - descending from his adoptive mother, I believe. Not
to mention that for centuries until its incorporation into the Russian
Empire the Office of Grand Duke of Lithuania was elective and tied to the
Polish crown.

Darren,
King Fernidad (his son is Ferdinand so he is quite understandably Fernidad)
is a regular on this newsgroup so your ruse is likely to have failed and you
now risk being labelled a part of the conspiracy against him. Has he
mentioned how his purchase of Ungava in Northern Quebec going (as I
understand the future home of new Prussia)? He was last raising money not
for a coronation like King Roman but new uniforms if I recall.

It is known fact that the head of the cadet branch of the Royal House
of Wurttemberg is the only possible claimant to the title of King of
Lithuania, since his ancestor has been officially proclaimed by the
Parliament, and thereafter officially recognized as such by sovereign
state. There is no matter that Tariba rejected his status in 5 month
after enthronisation (when Duke Wilhelm (King Mindaugas II) was de-jure
sovereign of Lithuania already).This is the end of story.
