Today is Nov 21, 2008 (USA eastern time).

Four years and one month from today, it will be Dec 21, 2012.

After (I forget how many) thousands of years, the ancient Mayan
calendar abruptly concludes on that day.

The Mayan calendar is reputed to be more astronomically accurate than
any other calendar.

Is that date significant? Does it imply, "The End" ?

This is exciting stuff :)

Ooh! Let's all make predictions! Let's see...

Four years and one month from today, Obama will anounce that Hillary
will not be returning as Secty of State. It will be generally
acknowledged that Hillary has done a fine job, but Bill's latest
sexual indiscretion proved too much for President Obama to bear.

Meanwhile, Sarah Palin is recuperating in Alaska, where she won her
only three electoral votes. "I think we earned a moral victory, you
betcha!" she announced from retirement in Wasilla.

It is the beginning.
So far time has just been preparing commencement guidelines for the
introduction of activation launch requirements required by the foundation
to support a starting point.

Negative.

It means the exact opposite. 4 years from now will be the end of Obama's
(The savior) first term. We all will be soooo enlightened by his miracles
that we will ascend to a new form of being. We become all loving beings
with big eyes and gray skin and are finally introduced to our ancestors
that left the planet before the last ice age and have been 'testing' us in
their mother ships for years.

We will hold hands and 'sing' (not really sign because we will no longer
have vocal chords because we will 'sing' and communicate telepathically.)
koom byah and move into our new age with hope and prosperity.

or ....

Nothing will be different.

My bet is on the latter.

========================================
You must not think me necessarily foolish because I am facetious,
nor will I consider you necessarily wise because you are grave.

Why don't you just go ahead and start early? You're politically powerless
and socially despised.

I predict that most of us will not have finished Christmas shopping by that
date.

I'll have to mull that one over. Hmm. Still mulling. Hmm.
