A Facebook friend (who I don't know personally) is a big shot IT guy who
travels the world.
He has a lot of interesting friends not necessarily in the computer world.

He asked his friends to post something of interest.

Mine was getting into an on-line argument with Nancy Sinatra.

Sure. "Julf" sounded familiar, it seems likely it's Johan Helsingius. I
remember he was quite active in the Finnish sfnet Usenet hierarchy back
when he was also running the anon.penet.fi anonymous remailer in the
mid-90s.
