So you are welcome to think. My experience is that she chose one of
the effective ways of dealing with a troll. Perhaps not the best way,
but I'm not in a good position to judge. Ignoring the troll means AOC
wasn't doing much to encourage further trolls and allowed her to get
on with whatever else she had to say.

Could she have done better by refuting the trolls message? I don't
know. That might have taken up precious time (if time was limited,
again something I don't know) or it might have given the troll's
message even more air time. Certainly not refuting the troll's message
gave people some room to attack her, but then any decision she made
would have been attacked by someone. That's a consequence of where
she's put herself.

to admit Swift didn't come to mind. Likely because it's probably been
