Shooting in Butte , Montana.
Shotgun preteen vs. illegal alien Home Invaders Butte, Montana, November 5,
2006.
Two illegal aliens, Ralphel Resindez, 23, and Enrico Garza, 26, probably
believed they would easily overpower home-alone 11 year old Patricia
Harrington after her father had left their two-story home.
It seems the two crooks never learned two things: they were in Montana and
Patricia had been a clay shooting champion since she was nine.
Patricia was in her upstairs room when the two men broke through the front
door of the house. She quickly ran to her father's room and grabbed his 12
gauge Mossberg 500 shotgun. Resindez was the first to get up to the second
floor only to be the first to catch a near point blank blast of buckshot
from the 11-year-old's knee crouch aim. He suffered fatal wounds to his
abdomen and genitals.
When Garza ran to the foot of the stairs, he took a blast to the left
shoulder and staggered out into the street where he bled to death before
medical help could arrive.
Butte, MT, September 17, 2008 -- As a result of the defensive shooting
in 2006, Patricia Harrington has been placed in foster care in Texas,
Mr. Harrington has been charged with negligently allowing a minor
access to weapons, and Mrs. Harrington has filed for divorce. Mr.
Harrington is facing a mandatory 13-year prison term, if convicted.

Patricia Harrington has been offered the chance to return to her
mother's home if she testifies against her father.

The survivors of Messrs. Resindez and Garza have filed a $30 million
wrong death suit against the Harrington family, Mr. Harrington's
employer, Mrs. Harrington's employer, the city of Butte, and the state
of Montana.

The civil case goes to trial later this year.

The governor could intercede and reverse these actions. If he does not
it's up to the citizens of Montana. The prosecutors, police, judges and
all those responsible for the persecution and prosecution of the
Harringtons should be removed from positions of power and charges of
kidnapping and fraud under color of law brought against them. The
illegal alien families and their lawyers should be pressured to cease
and desist from their irresponsible behavior.

No I didn't recognize it as a ruse. And I was ready to call the gov.
Guess ole Tim got me on that one. You don't suppose he did it on
purpose do you? :-)

However, given recent actions by government agencies, I don't see
this example as an obvious falsity. It's a good exercise.

I may still call the gov.

He usually sites "Rooters" or some such as the origin of the story
which makes it an obvious ruse. Don't know why he didn't this time.

And that's a damn shame! :)
Texan here, living in Tennessee. Politically speaking, I'm fairly
liberal-minded, but do NOT ever try to steal my chickens (euphamism, as I've
not owned a chicken since back in the dark ages, growing up on a North
Central Texas Farm).

Yeah, it's something of a shame the story's not true... save for the fact
that a young girl would have taken two lives. I don't care how convinced you
are that you'd gleefully take another's life in self defense, none of us has
any clue at all how we'd react if that terrible scenario presented itself to
us.

Frankly, I have yet to meet the person who loved to pontificate how he or
she would gladly pull a trigger that I trusted... nor have I met a cop who
carries a gun for a living, fully prepared to do just that and incredibly
hopeful that he, like most, spends a career never firing a shot in anger,
who trusts 'em either.

Of course, the worst part of that story, false though it may be, is the
opportunity it provides to slam everybody once again who has even a decent
suntan.

Growing up in Texas, as I did, and having lived from the Oklahoma border to
DFW, San Antonio, Houston and Austin, I've known my share of Mexicans, and
many of them were probably illegal. I have yet to meet the Mexican who gives
me fear, out of hand, any more than any other thug from any other race. I
have, on the other hand, known many likely illegals who worked as hard as
anybody, paid their taxes, collected nothing in return, only to find
themselves stripped of everything to satisfy the likes of a Tom Tancredo who
threatened the Texas city of Brownsville with moving that fence north of
town if they didn't like how it was effectively ceding US land, property
owned by US citizens back to Mexico by putting it on the wrong side of the
"protective fence." Their homes and livelihoods destroyed as a pallative to
people who probably couldn't tell the difference between a Mexican and an
Iranian.

It's been downright laughable watching Nashville, TN, my now hometown, get
used to the invasion of Hispanics here... most of them legal, and very
hard-working employees and business owners. Didn't stop nearby folks from
openly questioning whether a librarian of US Virgin Islands heritage (also
holding a New Jersey birth certificate) even had the right to be here, all
because she taught Spanish to the kids of parents who ASKED her to do just
that.

Guess they're not too familiar with the US citizenship automatically
conveyed on the peoples of US territories.

That we are currently willing to destroy the lives of US citizens,
confiscate their property and decimate their ability to make a living off
their own land, just speaks volumes about the dearth of logical thought of
at least one (and likely more) segment of our national political spectrum.

Meanwhile, oil companies, futures traders, banks and credit card companies
have brought this nation closer to all out depression than at any time in my
life. THAT is precisely how effective this immigration "debate" has become
at smokescreening far too many of us from realizing what the little man is
doing with his OTHER hand. And that it takes a snopes-proven falsehood to
further the "discussion" is just sad beyond belief.

Gee. I thought it was all "for the children". Whatever is best for
the child.

No. It seems the persecutor is perfectly happy to let her rot in
foster care unless she helps the slime to me her father. I can't tell
you how glad I am to know the state officials put child welfare high
over any other petty consideration - like conviction rates and career
building.
